It's not a new organ
It's always been there.
I suppose "potentially, previously unnoticed salivary gland" isn't so click-baity.
They were not "looking for prostrate tumors". They were testing a tracer chemical which might make certain types of PET scan more clear.
Abstract.

the key word you've missed off is "dicovered" - "find unexpectedly or during a search."

I'm not a native English speaker, but ...
... would that not be a newly discovered organ?

If they were looking for prostate tumours and found something in the nasopharynx
they were taking the long route.

Spot on.
It's supposed to be eaten with flat bread, boiled potatoes, sour cream, and pickles - not on its own. The tin should only be opened outside. So far I've not had the right combination of ingredients, a nice day, and good stiff breeze.

I don’t know of any comedy that doesn’t rub someone up the wrong way
And surrealist character comedy, even more so. I think he’s got a good hit rate with me, but definitely concede that sometimes I just go “that’s simply weird, not funny” when watching stuff.

I've only seen him perform live once
In the Bongo Club in Edinburgh, about 18 years ago, doing an unannounced back to back DJ set with Mu-Ziq. It was insane. Just this massive wall of noise that was changing so fast it was difficult to tell what was going on, but I loved it. At the end he was awesome enough to sit on the stage and shake hands and say hi to anyone who wanted, except he did a funny little finger tickle thing instead of a handshake. And what do you say to Mr Twin if you ever get the chance to say anything at all? I think I said "I Care Because You Do changed me as a person." Or some bollox like that, the kind of profound stuff you come out with after hours of insane clubbing. It was true though.
