Oh dear - Bon Jovi 1986 vs B.J. 2010
Very noticeable difference in key....If, like me, you like them, you will see this as a sad reminder of how epic JBJ's voice once was. For you "they are shit and middle of the road" types, here's more ammo.

Could be devastating. No specs on the accuracy though. Still, I have a quack theory on these things - if it gets incorporated into the next Call of Duty, it will doubtless get enormously popular and then get taken up by the US military. 10 years ago game weapons were based on the arms used by the army. 5 years ago they were based on those just out of development and in use by special forces. Now it seems that arms are picked up by the military on the basis of their cool-factor in realistic gaming. Scary.

Well it;s not the military that makes the guns
it;s the big arms companies. And where better to test out new gun ideas than in a FPS? Thousands of testers giving you their opinion (and teabags) They must konw that the peopel that buy the guns arte still children at heart and will probably wet their pants of the new cool looking gun over the new efficient gun.

Fantastic Science Museum film from 2007 that I'd never seen before (mostly because it's well hidden on their site)
Featuring shit hitting a fan, a venus flytrap, gas explosions, fluffy dogs and a tank. And the work of b3ta interview veteran Tim Hunkin.
I've pulled the video out of the page as it's postage stamp sized on the original page here:

i love things like this
but the low resolution, combined with the way it's shot mean that I really don't get any sense of cause and effect. The way each event triggers the next is being lost in the edit and it's just a list of 'things happening'
shame really, as it's clear a lot of effort went into it

hm, I thought that was a pretty simple one really
the name (the man in the mirror) basicly tells you how it's done.
it's an image painted or etched on a mirror and then photographed at an angle.
