A 2D game set in a 3D world that lets you decide how the level is laid out depending on the angle you choose to view it at. Sounds confusing but actually isn't*. Great fun.
*Actually is confusing. Bear with it.

See Fez on Wikipedia or an example YouTube video.
(I guess Flash clones are to be expected if you take too long to release your game, though).

I read an interview with the lead designer of Fez, then half an hour later found this. It's so similar to how I imagined it that I wondered if it was by the same guy.
EDIT: Just watched the vid, there are so many similarities!

First attempt at using the Pioneer DDJ-S1 which I have been given to use for 2 weeks as part of the Pioneer Control Freaks project. Its pretty nifty but Im not really sure what im doing with it at times O_o

Cheers :0) I was pretty surprised when they picked me tbh. Think they gave 20 people one to play with. Even get a funky pair of headphones that I can keep. Cant argue with that

Must be v convenient to just stick in a USB and not have to arse around with all those cables.

I really love all these mixes you post, and usually mean to say so but don't always get round to it.
So let this message stand for each one you post : )

I'd have to hunt you down and kill you, of course. But it is nothing personal. Just a hobby.

Reminds me of one of my favorite pisstakes. I often share this 'fact':
When I first meet someone, one of the first things I think is -- If I had to kill you, what would be the best way to go about it. It really helps me to cope with my shyness

He's a chef who was born in Essex - why that makes him "mockney" is beyond me!
( , Sun 5 Jun 2011, 18:44, Reply)

He's from Clavering, near Saffron Walden, in Essex but not far from Hertfordshire & Cambridgeshire. Being near Stansted/Cambridge it's a very expensive area to live (think Surrey stockbroker belt - it's not far off that), and fuck all like the gor blimey East End/Estuary Essex he likes to make out he's from.

Sainsbury are the perfect match for him, they share demographics. Who cares what a bloke interested in something marketed to people you don't like does? He stopped being an object of satire about a year after he first appeared on tv.

Having a browse through xkcd, noticed the alt-text on this one which says
Wikipedia trivia: if you take any article, click on the first link in the article text not in parentheses or italics, and then repeat, you will eventually end up at "Philosophy".
This is what I got:
Random Page -> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Atkyns_Bray
-> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poet
-> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poetry
-> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Literature
-> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiction
-> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narrative
-> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Story
-> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sequence
-> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathematics
-> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantity
-> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Property_%28philosophy%29
-> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modern_philosophy
-> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philosophy
Mind was blown.
EDIT: If I'd spent a tenth of the time researching this instead of actually testing it, I'd have found this a lot sooner: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Get_to_Philosophy
( , Sun 5 Jun 2011, 16:44, Reply)

not always. Television gets you caught in a non-philosophical loop, for example.
( , Sun 5 Jun 2011, 16:53, Reply)

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mangles_family also leads to Philosophy.
( , Sun 5 Jun 2011, 16:55, Reply)

leaves you in a loop about the Ancient Greek language.
Edit: Actually, it's possible I used a bracketed link I just realised.

you get stuck in a loop about the Latin language.
( , Sun 5 Jun 2011, 17:47, Reply)

I got
Soham - Town - Human Settlement - Archaeology - Human - Extant_Taxon - Biology - Natural Science - Science - Knowledge - Fact - Information - Sequence (as above on to Philosophy).
( , Sun 5 Jun 2011, 17:59, Reply)

Looking back I clicked on Latin, which was in the middle of a parenthesised sentence, instead of living (extant_taxon).
