it's by Graham Linehan, if you like his other work (Black Books, IT Crowd, Big Train) then you'll like this too. Not sure if 4oD is still showing them, they used to have every episode but since that was a good idea Channel 4 took a bunch of them down. But yes, watch it.

but the episodes are better. In times of boredom I like to spin the "Wheel of Ted" and watch a random episode. Not a wasted moment, line or gag in any of the 25 episodes.
Perfect, in my opinion.

Father Ted is about as far removed from that as is possible.
I'd also second what was said up there and heartily recommend Black Books too.

I think they're isolated on the island because of past crimes. There's one episode with Father Jack fantasising about being in a classroom full of little girls. I'm not making this up.

Always thought Black Books and IT Crowd are overrated (especially IT Crowd).
But Ted has always been one of the very best.

The object it pretty simple. Just use the arrow keys to slide the tiles up, down, left or right. Combine matching tiles until one tile totals 2028.

But during the troubles I'm sure he had his fingers in ALL of the dirty pies available out there. He doesn't come across as the type who would pull any triggers himself, but that doesn't expunge him from organising killings, or whipping people into frenzies.
But like Max Clifford, it's in the past now so we should just forget about it.

( , Wed 30 Apr 2014, 21:36, Reply)

Adams seems like the sort of guy who although a thoroughly nasty piece of work, would be smart enough to have not got his hands dirty. McGuinness on the other hand seems like he was at the coalface for most of it.

As the Savile inquiry put it, "we are sure that he did not engage in any activity that provided any of the soldiers with any justification for opening fire."
So he was probably there and was probably carrying a sub-machine gun, and may have fired that weapon, but the Savile inquiry is pretty adamant in its findings that he did not engage in any activity giving justification for opening fire.
Of course, it might be suggested there are plenty of events other than Bloody Sunday which might warrant closer attention, but I am of the view that he has been rather more useful to the British government than either side publicly admits.

However, I ask you put it to my right honourable friend over there and see what he says so we can divert around the issue until our 5 minute segment is up.

(I am a spamcunt).
I've been working on this in my spare time for over a year now, me and my two faithful beta testers. I'm not really sure what words best describe it yet: it's a personal finance budgetter. You tell it your incomes, your expenses, your accounts and it gives you a daily budget to follow, lets you record spending, alerts you to bills, predicts when your balances will drop too low, tracks unpaid bills, simulates expenses, manages savings goals. It has a web app (I'm working on native iOS and Android things) and can even send you text messages.
There are other things that do this, but none as well as this. I only started making it because I couldn't find something that can cope with an irregular income and it's really helped me to get organise and pay my bills.
It is in beta, and this is the first place I've publicly posted it and shall be the only place for a while. There's a good support ticketing system (in 'support') on there for problems but you can also gaz me. Me and a few friends have been testing it for a while now, so it should be quite stable, but I'd still expect a few bugs, it just shouldn't catch fire or anything. What I'd love is any feature requests and suggestions for it.
I will eventually hope to charge a low price for it (£1pcm or £8 a year) but if you use the code b3tabeta on signing up, you'll get a year credited and I'll add to that if you're still using it in a year.
(It is at this point that it will crash and burn, I'm sure).

to get our annual incomes and bank details, right?
( , Wed 30 Apr 2014, 17:43, Reply)

enter any bank details or personal information, I'd be concerned at someone adding a bank account on there and actually calling it by the account number. Mine are 'student', 'savings' and 'wallet'.
edit: it can also manage a box of cash as if it was a bank account, making it perfect for drug dealers. I don't know if that's something I should try promoting it with.
( , Wed 30 Apr 2014, 17:45, Reply)

as I initially made it specifically for me, like the selfish bastard I am, I've really enjoyed all feedback to make it into something universally useful.
That said, I am a coder, I am not a marketer, this is usually the stage that my projects tend to die at if they're not about willies or the world ending.

if the willy is soft and useless then theres no money.
if the the willy is a semi then there may be some money
if the willy would require thumbing in then there is a bit more money
if the willy ifs rampant and sold then you loads of money
and if the willy is rampant and spurting then there is to much money
