But my MP was one of two low lifes that talked the time out, killing the bill.
This is the same person that told the Commons that sex education should be removed from schools.
*despair*

Pleased, but not exactly surprised to see that my MP was on the list of sixty.

Lose those two and you'll improve the political landscape immeasurably overnight. Throw in Rees-Mogg too and I might actually start to regain a little faith in government.
edit: Just to show I'm not just being anti-Tory, Bob Blackman (of Harrow) made a commendable contribution to the debate.
It just goes to show that certain politicians might be a whole lot more keen to help those in urban or depressed areas if they'd ever get their fat backside off their country seat and spend any time there. Instead, we have a handful of people who seem to want to make things better being drowned out by a somewhat larger number who wouldn't even keep their deposit if it weren't for the colour of their neckwear*.
*I have to believe this; the thought that people actually want the likes of Davies in power is simply too hideous to contemplate.

Just another depressing nail in these out of touch fucktards. I have had to rent most of my adult life and for years the rental contracts are more and more in the favour of the landlord. I remember the days went the "Rates" now "Council Tax" was always part of your rent. Not now and did my rent ever go down?
This is why renting is this country is a complete disaster as you are treated like scum because you are so poor not to afford your own property. I just want a home and never have one because of the whim of the landlord and you will never get a contract over 12 months to put down roots which they can still go back on and chuck you out. The place is a mess but too scared to complain too much as they will chuck me out. Promises to redecorate next year after year.

When I viewed one, it was full of Chinese students who couldnt speak much English. I asked the agent 'how would they be able to transfer so quickly?' He replied 'Two month contract, they'll be out of here by Christmas' This was last year, needless to say, Im fucked if Im going to be part of that fucking circus.

I'm going to do what I can to make sure as many people in this area as possible are aware of this. I've seen several posts on FaceBook already (and Shelter have a nice poster about it that I can share) so this is a start. Perhaps some leaflets nearer the election are needed...

I felt like that when I lived in the UK too. And the "agencies" did bugger all once they took your money. I live abroad now, and in Europe owning property isn't as much of an obsession as it seems to be in the UK. There is no stigma in Renting, it's just what people do and the agencies and landlords are less shitty (although like in any market you do get shitty ones sometimes). In the UK, it's almost like a right of passage for many Brits that they must own a house or they have failed at life. This gives the market the "second class" citizen aspect you described and I think helps perpetuate many other related problems.

Was in Tel Aviv airport with a Sikh bloke who made the Schindler's lift joke on his way to the interrogation room. Strangely they didn't appreciate it.

That's why I've never really gotten on with them before. Thought this vid was pretty good though.

Conceptually, I like them, and bands like Amon Amarth. Their musicianship is superior, just a different cup of tea.

They're playing in Reading shortly, with Tyr. A bit to power-metal for me. I do like a bit of Amon Amarth though.

That doesn't change that they are more into kids now and were always a butt of a joke in the underground ;)
But the tunes are catchy!

As I said, I never used to like them but I preferred Azarath. Also, weirdly, my mate is hosting Deicide in Camden tonight o_O

It was up two weeks ago, but the rules are it has to be played in December. So glasscock off!!

Personally sceptical but excited - apparently based on Lenz's law and a special surface.
Is theoretically feasible if they use a field that changes in time at high frequency to overcome Earnshaw's theorem (which they mention).
Apologies if GC.
Apologies if fake.
