for those of you who like to watch people building vehicle related things, making dubious decisions regarding the building of those things, and getting sidetracked doing other things to those vehicles on the way to sort of doing the thing they set out to do. It's better than that sounded.
He's also trying to build a land speed record vehicle to go on the salt flats.

I bought this a few months back and I'm in love, it's so good I feel I need to lie back and have a smoke after playing.
A good loud 20w valve combo, the reverb is beautiful. Just lovely to play. Sounds great at low volume for bedroom practice and can be cranked up loud enough for pub gigs and the like.
Cheap as chips!!! Well about 100kilo of chips according to

Former b3tan Tom Scott has come to the end of his regular weekly videos. It's an absolute belter too.
I remember when he did the preparing for emergencies spoof, and was interviewed on Radio 4. Was strange hearing someone off that funny website being interviewed on the proper adults radio.

I quite liked his pieces over the years. wish there were more journos like him.
on a side note, seems brb and porcupine have put me on ignore, odd fish that they are. given that brb was talking the other day about how he has been diligently tracking board members metadata to uncover sockpuppets, I'd speculate he has my photo on his wall connected by yarn and arrows. In the absence of any insult or interaction, Id hazard it must have been my joke reply about Mexicans to ls18 trumpist pic that triggered porcs, as he was talking darkly about "apologists" in the next thread as if b3ta was Question Time instead of a puerile humour site. I've idly thought they might be sockpuppets of one another, as the seem to share the same humourlessness about many things, and both choosing to ignore me at the same time seems an odd coincidence now that i think about it, but whatever makes them/him happy. Never had the energy for it myself. still, it's my first ignore since sockcooker, who doesn't like being reminded he admitted to spending 4 years whoring with under-age thai sex workers when he starts hounding other board members. not sure if he still posts, but perhaps one of you could mention this next time he does.
(, Mon 1 Jan 2024, 21:24, Reply)
must be that you've only been replying to brb threads lately. one minute you were all over, the next gone. melting on the beach in Fiji atm so I've barely the energy to lift my caipirinha, let alone figure out such mysteries on the intermittent hotel wifi. still, good to see you haven't flounced, who else would I turn to to be told what humour isnt acceptable? ;-)

I mean, I get it’s not riveting for everyone, but the boards kind of slow this time of year and I’m pleasantly drunk
If I had photoshop I’d be making spud pics instead, though how anyone gets anything done here baffles me
(, Tue 2 Jan 2024, 12:24, Reply)
Thought it was quite nasty what he did, weeks hounding that b3tan off the board, calling him a paedo for no reason. I didnt think being a nutcase excused it, especially as he spent years fucking underage Thai whores many of whom are forced into the trade. So not a grudge, he didn’t stalk me, but assuming he’s still posting virtue signalling videos about cripples it’s probably healthy to remind him every now and again of his underage Thai whoring past

Why are people so averse to passion in music?
He's brilliant, his little pauses are reeeeally clever and well done. But not a single hair stood up. Is it something that music degrees produce? He sounds like a Berkely student doing a thesis.

"Sponsored eco-engineering competition" seems like a good shout, even if it's being run by fossil fuel people. For a long time in the 1990s, it looked like some of fossil fuels giants were investing in good renewable projects - Shell did some great work with algae as a biofuel source, IIRC... But it turns out they were also lobbying to keep the status quo as long as possible. Who knew? :|
Fuel-efficient diesel engines seemed like a good idea while ICE vehicles were still the norm - but it turned out the car companies were cooking the test results. Who knew? :|
