Free colouring pages for you and/or your bored kiddywinks
I made this!
I've updated my colouring page with extra Star Wars, Pete Doherty and Vic and Bob.
Stave off that boredom (assuming you have a printer or ipad to colour them in with).

I can't stomach this guy.
He's a Doctor of Philosophy (literally, that's what he holds a doctorate in) but uses his 'Doctor' prefix to lend more credence to his Youtube videos under the guise of him being some kind of M.D.
As learned as he might be on the subject, he still comes off as a massive fucking fraud. Massively popular on Facebook, I suspect.

The title Doctor was first used by academics and later appropriated by the physician profession to imply wisdom, having studied a very long (and demanding!) undergraduate degree.
It does not indicate that an MD has done anything to increase the world's knowledge, which the title initially did.

The guy trains nurses. He's not qualified to speak with any kind of authority on the subjects he's tackling.
Being somebody with numerous years of experience lecturing on Nursing makes you no more of a Medical Doctor than an Optician with numerous years of experience dispensing optical prescriptions. The 'advice' he gives on his YouTube channel is no more reliable than the advice of anybody with a vested interest in the subject.
As entitled as he may be to use his professional prefix, it's clear that he's using it on YouTube in a manner that will lend more credence to his videos. He's not a Doctor in the traditional sense that most people think of 'Doctor' and he makes very little effort to make viewers aware of that fact.
As I linked to L E T S P A N I C down there, his advice at times is amateurish and potentially dangerous. If you're going to take medical advice from YouTube, make sure the source is reliable. At the very least, make sure they have the adequate qualifications required to represent our countries healthcare service on the subject.

the video I linked
you didn't watch. because if you did you would see that what he's saying is reasonable to any intelligent person and I feel represents reality very well. you got as far as saying "I don't like this person, he's not a medical doctor. probably popular on facebook blablabla" So you find him on another video giving an opinion on the therapeutic benefits of fever, which is disputed and probably is wrong. Fair enough. I was not trying to disseminate an opinion about fever. Whatever, bravo for being such a piece of shit to me. you piss taking cunt.

Have some Congolese bliss...
...in these dark times.
I was doing a holiday job sometime in the Nineties here in Amsterdam, listening to the World Service, when this came by on John Peel's show.
I managed to obtain the disc by recalling the track title only phonetically, but the knowledgable guy behind the record shop's counter knew his onions and presented me this gem.
Some bastard colleague borrowed it to subsequently disappear and never return it to me.
Many years later Youtube came to the rescue.
Stay safe you lovely B3tans!

(There's a great story about a couple who had to move out of their house when their musical birthday card fell down in an inaccessable crack in the wall and kept on playing)

we used the works from card samplers in a few sound installations
one was a bunches of electronic musical flowers that sang their colours in some kind of harmony.
another was a hundred or so of them buried in a park with various notes and percussive sounds coming out of them.
the latter was done at night time and quite unnerving as you walked around the field.

I’ve got a cupboard full of whisky first, then I’m moving onto the other half’s gin collection.
If by some miracle we clean all that out then there’s always the bottle of Ron Miel. we brought back from holiday, which tasted great at the time but somehow didn’t travel well. At. All.
If we get through that then it’s time to move onto the bleach.
