QOTW is the best thing
I've ever seen on the net. I found it when searching for nasty jokes and was directed to b3ta's sick jokes. From there I found QOTW.

The people who respond to QOTW are completely insane. (In a good way) I have never laughed (out loud) so much. The archives are a gold mine of belly laughs.

My point in all this is that I am on the internet through "WebTV". A little black box giving me access using my TV as monitor.

Compared to a computer it is limited in what it can do. All I ask is that QOTW remains compatible for me to enjoy.

I have never lauged so much as when I read the stories posted there. Made up or otherwise.

Being American my vocabulary has grown considerably thanks to your British humor.

Any changes to QOTW that are small would be appreciated.

Sure it's been suggested already but...
how about a 'Who's logged in' option so we can see who's on. Some boards (VBulletin for instance) show which members and how many 'guests' are currently online.

FP archives, and a section to submit flash games and such.
Also an NSFW section would be really nice, or some sort of system to disable youself from seeing anything which has been submitted as NSFW.

more frequent FP updates. For example, the most-voted-upon image every hour gets FP'ed. Or some more fancy algorithm that relates votes to current posting volume and FP's everything above a certain threshold.

Plus, FP archives.

Feature request: Archived front page
Have a "Next 10" link at the bottom of the front page that shows the last 10 images that were front paged. Each archived page would also have the "Next 10" link (or whatever number you use).

Usefull if I go on vacation for two weeks and can't check b3ta while I'm away.

One thing I've always thought is lacking
Is a way to handle the occaisonal "conversations" that happen on the qotw. When you read a post that says "In response to FooBar's post, anal rape is NOT a good idea" you kind of want to see what post that's referring to.

Clearly it doesn't want to turn into another talk board so my suggestion would be to keep the ordering of posts as is but add a 'reply' button to posts which, when clicked, creates a new post as normal but with a link something like 'this post refers to another post, click here to see it'

the more results link is at the bottom of the page. maybe have it at the top as well, or a way to spazz back 1 day, 2 days, 3 days etc

so if anyone clicks it for their own post their picture, name and address is flashed on the screen, accompanied by a siren and the word 'LAMER' in massive red letters.

2) ability to select what site content appears in the profile (switching FP & QoTW answers on or off)

ok here goes...
1) A nsfw board
2) An audio board
3) A flash board
4) User defined image size limits, so the user can choose the largest jpg and gif sizes they want to be shown when looking at the board
5) Gradually reducing indent width for each level of reply, so the board doesn't get all squshed over to the right by the 20th reply to a reply to a reply to a reply.
6) An archive for the 'popular' page.
7) The ability to jump to a time in the Archive, so I can find that great image that someone posted at 6pm last thursday without guessing the archive number

have a file uploader built into the website
but make it be able to recognise file types so it can block huge images. For instance .gifs over 250k blocked, or .jpgs/.pngs over 50k blocked. Or something similar

Auto alert for large images to appear in the post.
or give me an admin page where i can choose to ignore posts with certain words in. Like FAQ, bigger, scarlet etc.

Perhaps an 'i don't like this' button.
