I've seen a lot of posts on here about how badly it affects you. The only time it ever did anything other than keep me awake for an hour or so was when I downed four cans, one after the other. I was a bit hyper and I had the shakes for a while.
Am I normal, or am I weird?
P.S. I only started drinking coffee a short while ago, and only very rarely. No childhood tolerance to caffeine.

I'm so excited! I hope I fit on my sexy underwear... I've been on an extreme diet for 3 weeks.
Anyway, the party will be great, as always.
I'm so looking forward to it!!
Now, I think I have to ask a question or something, so, are you excited, jealous or happy for me?

He came on Monday to do the annual maintenance check on the gas appliances. He gave it the all clear.
The heating and hot water subsequently packed up yesterday.
THE SAME THING HAPPENED AFTER HIS VISIT LAST YEAR.
I said "It always happens after you've been to check it..." and he goes "This looks like the gas valve though. What was it last year?"
I said "I dunno, but the result was the same, you come and check it, say it's fine, it dies."
Now I'm not paying, the landlords are, but I think it's quite the scam.
I've aslo been inconvenienced whilst lying here dying of feline aids.

first I was whistling the Tales from the Crypt music, and I have since gone onto singing "Kyle's mum's a bitch" from South Park
fortunately I am already regarded as eccentric, and there are a couple of people here who are fucking mental, so I can get away with it.
so...whatcha doin'?

I often get words stuck in my head. They pop up out of nowhere and repeat themselves occasionally. This week's words have been 'alopecia' and 'antimony'.
Does this happen to you, or am I just a big weirdo? Does your brain do anything strange?

I'm looking to get a bike for the other half for Christmas, but I confused abouit sizing this www.factorydirectbikes.com/bikes/optima_richmond_ladies/ looks perfect, but will it fit a 5' 5" girl?
What is the 19" that they refer to, the wheel height, the saddle height! Where's PJM when you need him!

This hasn't been a QOTW for some time, but I feel needs to be shared with the world of QOTW.
6 years ago, I was that kid in school everyone picked on, no friends and a short temper. However, when my parents introduced me to their best friends from their hippy days, I met Rob. This guy became my very best friend - he was the total opposite to me, cool, funny, all the girls loved him, and he had every record under the sun. Rob let me hang out with his friends in Richmond - a mission to get to, but it was worth it as I felt accepted for the first time in a long time. Rob, in turn, introduced me to Matt. He was the embodiment of the life and soul of the party. Matt had a pathological lust for life and let nothing get him down. Little did we know however, Matt had what we would now call bipolar disorder and his alcoholic stepfather was putting the boot in most nights.
We started to notice Matt's heavier drug use - when most of us were having a couple of cheeky J's, Matt was snorting sheep's legs of cocaine and gobbling mushies like there was no tomorrow. Then, he started to use smack. We kept trying to get him off it, saying it was for pricks, but after a particularly heavy night of smack and stepdad beating, Matt hung himselfon the 1st January 2004.
Matt's mum then blamed us all for his descent to smack, and when we protested it was his stepdad she banned us from his funeral, and we had our own little party. The group broke up after that, all of us unable to deal with what happened to Matt, and we've drifted apart so much when I quit drugs I don't even have most of the guys on Facebook.
However, a reunion has been set for the 2nd January 2010, where we will forget all the petty squabbles, get fucked up and listen to Matt's favourite Nine Inch Nails and metal choons, and remember an amazing guy. Let's hope it goes well and we set a good tribute for the big party animal in the sky.

How badly/well have you done on your review in the past?

I'm using Streamline for my business site, and they're the most useless, patronising, unhelpful wankers. Even for IT professionals.
The new hoster is for my personal site.

I a certain 80's film about time travel they go to 2015 and say "twenty fifteen" and in the 20th century we all said our dates in that format for example "nineteen eighty" But right now we say "two thousand and nine" as one big number. So at the turn of the decade do we start saying "twenty ten" or do we continue with the "two thousand and" formula until the turn of the century when I will be a sprightly 118 years old.
I have no idea why I care! What will you be saying that date as in the new decade? And how do you say the title of the Roland Emmerich hunk of shite 2012?
