We all know we'll eventually hurt his delicate feelings on /talk and because you're all inherently nice people you'll welcome him back so we can save ourselves the whole hour it'd take for this to happen if you just had him back straight away. Thanks guys, I love you.

and I thought I'd broken my monitor stand but it turns out my entire desk is wonky so i've just spent 10 minutes crouched underneath it lifting it on my back and extending the legs.
I feel a lot straighter now.

I was supposed to meet my landlady and sign the tenants agreement at 10:30 this morning, but she had an emergency at home and it was put off to 1 and then 4 and she's finally on her way now.
After she's been and gone I'm going down the pub I reckon. What have you had to wait for? And what are you doing this evening?

Today I have been told that myself (and quite a few others) have been waiting for a series of double-dose medicene for over 6 months. Now this medicene will dramaticly change my life, I won't say it'll fix me, nothing can, but it will elivate my symptons to the point where I can be a normal mostly fully functioning member of society; one who can work more and thus earn more money and thus pay more tax. The doctors and nurses involved all want me to have the stuff. My bosses at work want me to have the stuff, so I can be more productive. I want to have the stuff, too. It would be great to do things for a few days on the row without being exorsted. Most evenings I am so tired that I don't know whats happened the next day (currently I can't tell you much about Hollyoaks or The Apprentise despite watching them sevrel times for each showing), there are some days where I can't even say how I got home. This is not an exasoration.
This isn't an OH WOE IS ME post, my situation is a damn site better than a lot of people, I'm content with life... it's just that it could be better, and the only reason my health has deteriated this year is because of politics and finances... and that is by all definition of the word 'wrong'.
Yet, the goverment can supply high range iPad 2s (£550 = 64gb Wifi model, or 32gb 3G one, the later coming with contracts that hasn't been mentioned... deffo 'iPad 2's as I've seen video/pictures of them). They say it'll save them £200kpa in printing costs. They bought 17 of them, so that means these 17 people use up around £12kpa in printing each. Let's round up the price of printing one page to 1p, which means they use up PER PERSON 1.2m pages per year (or 3300ish pages a day).
------ I wrote this a little while ago and then had to go off to do things, I'm back now and completely and uttlery besotted with my nurse, but I'd hate for a good rant to go to waste.

I can't post on here 'til after 4pm tomorrow, so I'd like to take this opportunity to say how utterly fabulous she is! I can categorically declare that I love BGB so much, I'd crawl a mile over broken glass just to poke match sticks in her shite \o/
Unfortunately, she won't receive our presents from us on the day. In one of the shops in which I purchased a present for the lovely lady, I encountered such a conscientious assistant whom can only be compared to Rowan Atkinson's character in "Love Actually". Being the altruistic professional that he is, I was offered a gift wrapping service. "That would be most helpful", replied I, being an utter fucktard with wrapping skillz.
Mr "Atkinson Clone" proceeded to list the various patterns of wrapping paper from which to choose. As soon as he mentioned "balloons" I exclaimed, "Balloons are perfect! Can we use that paper please?"
"Ahah, wait a moment madam..." quoth he, "I also have silver paper, a flowery design.... here's one with pink hearts....."
"The balloons will fit the bill nicely, thank you."
"OOOOH, I've found some gold paper down here!"
"Thank you, but the balloon paper is just the ticket for the lady recipient of this gift."
"Are you sure madam? There is also some purple swirly paper underneath the pile..."
"BALLOONS ARE GOOD! CAN I PLEASE JUST HAVE THE BALLOON PAPER!?"
"Why, yes, of course madam!"
*several minutes of OCD/autistic wrapping of present*
Gift is perfectly wrapped \o/
"Now, madam, would you care to choose some ribbon?"
Glancing at my watch, not wanting to miss the post office, nor hurt the kind gentleman's feelings, I nodded enthusiastically. "We have pink, gold, purple..."
"Purple will be splendid with the colour scheme of the balloon paper!"
"Hold on a moment madam.... I have silver ribbon.."
"JUST TIE THE FUCKING PURPLE RIBBON ON THE BASTARDING BOX PLEASE!"
"Very well, madam, purple ribbon it shall be."
*****20 minutes later******
"I'm awfully sorry madam; this shop does not have a "chip and pin" facility - I shall require you to place your card in this archaic 20th century "clunk&chunk" machine of mine. I need to telephone The Bank People in order to obtain verification of your card...."
Forty-five bastarding minutes after choosing BGB's gift (perfectly wrapped) I left the shop, having missed the post office by 15 minutes.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLOUSIE! xxx
How much do you love BGB and why? Bonus points for norks comments :)
