Help us choose the new Question of the Week
Thursday already - vote for one of the following for this week's question
The Apocalypse - Power cuts, internet outages, mild inconvenience to your daily lives - how did you cope?
The one that got away - You know what it's like. You find that perfect someone then as quick as they appeared in your life they flash away and try as you want, or not, you never forget them.
Social Networking Gaffes II - We did this four years ago when Facebook and Twitter were relatively new. We dare say you've broken up a marriage or two since then
Public Shame - Ever crapped yourself in public? Committed a dreadful faux pas in front of posh company? Tell all!
The worst place I lived - Dreadful. The kitchens were so far away, the servants could never keep the soup warm all the way to the dining room
Business trips - I once worked on a US Air Force base and was an honorary captain for two weeks. TOP GUN!
Vote! Vote! Vote And win a sloth*

It's a difficult one to write about,
seeing as there hasn't actually been an apocalypse.
I expect there will be lots of 'how I have protected my house against zombies, even though they are not real' type posts.

I think anyone who says they haven't prepared for a zombie outbreak is lying.
Of course, I don't know any normal people.

I once saw an online advert for a Chainsaw in a can and thought
"I really should get that in case of zombie outbreaks".

Although I imagine a large proportion of survivors will be battle re-enactors. Immediate access to chain mail, a shield and a functional sword will be a positive benefit, come the zombie holocaust.

Depends on how good the chain mail and the sword actually is.
Very few places make it battle ready.

Not falling apart after a few whacks would do the trick, surely.
How bad would chain mail need to be for a zombie to bite through it?
But then I'm not a battle re-enactor.

my wife used to have sloth as a pet when she was growing up in brazil
I won't elaborate unless the QOTW is specifically about sloth ownership

Moveable poles are a health and safety hazard.
There are enough injuries sustained by exotic dancers every year as it is without you introducing that madness.

Yes it does seem sluggish
I keep getting /board half-loading, then freezing, you can only scroll down a screen or so. Thought it was just my pooter being rubbish.

There's always at least one absolute blinder, regardless of people's feelings on the challenge itself.
