Maze animationUsing prim's algorithm and the difference in pixel values as edge costs, I bring you a semi-animated maze using distance from the tree root as a value, and animating that value. You can see the branches sweep and so forth, almost showing you the paths in the maze.

Here is a category 5 maze I made, you can go from say the upper left to the lower right but I wouldn't do that in prison. It does however display the truly crappy nature of quick and dirty random number generation, that it is not random, not really, I mean the huuuuge combs it makes should not happen since the choices should be random. But clearly that is not the case. On to the image, huge.
