Mr Doghorse and I were asked to make something about Rubik's Cubes.
As I've never had the persistence to complete it I thought we'd emphasise more creative aspects.
And yes, the title is wrong... we only manage 53 :)

Hello 'Cleccy, how're you keeping?
I must send you a message some time.
This is excellent!

I'm good thanks. Life is full but fun.
Hope all is fine and dandy in your world?

I saw a young kid with a Rubiks cube yesterday - I was so tempted to grab it, solve it and hand it back. I didn't. (restraining orders and all that pft)

The harmonica/beatbox post down the page reminded me of this guy. He uses harmonica, beatboxing and a loop pedal to create some dirty lo-fi bluesy awesomeness.
edit: tons of tracks on his last.fm page: www.last.fm/music/Son+Of+Dave

I've been playing harmonica for years, so nice to see someone really talented playing rather than some guitar strummer who thinks harmonicas "sound cool".
How many guitarists get up on stage, randomly hit the strings and expect applause? None. If you can't play a harmonica, don't play it. It's not a fucking kazoo.

A distopian future for the Mushroom Kingdom sets the background for a live-action web series based on Super Smash Bros Brawl.

I just don't know if it's evil and/or exploitative. (Wonder if they do horses as well....)

nah what is it really? curiouser and curiouser.
( , Fri 26 Sep 2008, 13:33, Reply)

To find a book proclaiming to bombproof your horse.
I was expecting some thing in the vein of Iron Man, with instructions on building an indestructible, nuclear powered, exo-skellington for any horse(s) you may have.
Alas, I fear it is not quite as action oriented as the name makes out.

Premise is: You're in a white/black room and the only way to see where objects are is to splatter paint at them.

I like this premise a lot, seems suitably ambient too. Unless there are scary white monsters lurking about.
edit: the music does get more menacing as it goes on, but still lacking in scariness

that's got to be better in the room its played in though, mono camera mic leaves too much of atmosphere out.

obviously not aimed at the teenage male market with all that breast, BUT WHO CARES!!
RA2 and Yuri's revenge were about the most fun games I have now wasted a decade on, or to mod to boot
Relishing this offering even if Parallels on my Mac can't handle it; I shall simply buy a new PC just to play it
( , Thu 25 Sep 2008, 23:55, Reply)

Only spackers played it on the playstation.
C&C is for the PC, any console versions need to be burnt.

A game which works a little like Googlefight. You enter three words and they battle against another player's words. Whichever are the most popular words in both google and flickr searches wins, and its all played out in a 3D DJ Battle. Each DJ is unique as the words you enter pull relevent images from flickr to dress your character.

You could try opening the index.htm file in notepad and change the Title in there. Save it and open it again in dreamweaver and it should work.

You appear to be breaking the rules of websites too
www.webpagesthatsuck.com/mysterymeatnavigation.html
the graphic is nice but irrelevant.
the buttons really really really need to have tool tips telling you what they link to at the very least. Yes i know most of them, but not all.
Top icon doesn't change colour, on mouse over
Second from top icon is constantly lit.
But lovely layout, and nice an bold.
( , Fri 26 Sep 2008, 8:37, Reply)

the mystery meat thing - i think thats a load of shite personally - justbecause someone likes to be told about everything before they do it doesnt make it ok either.
