This is a normal post Finally found the time to catch this...
So what do we learn:

Bill can't say Picard any better than he can pronounce Takei but he seems to have a lot of respect for him as an actor and fellow captain.

Alternately he seems to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder over the new young Kirk.

At 40 minutes in we learn Avery Brooks can do a great impression of Mrs Doyle off of Father Ted, and his head never left space, WTF is he on, at 1:21 Bill just gives up trying to get a straight answer out of him that isn't in 'piano' anymore, but boy is he happy, haha!

At 52 minutes in we learn Patrick Stewart (it's a fucking T Bill!) has a broken marriage and a broken heart! :(

At 1 hour in, LONGEST QUESTION EVAR!!

But mainly the main thing Bill likes to talk and hear about is BILL, but at 1:33 he makes up for all of it with his little epiphany there.

Enjoyed it tho! Cheers for putting it up here! :)

This is a link post Childhood memories shattered.
"A Little Bit More" by Dr Hook.

One of the most beautiful and romantic songs of the 1970s.

As a lad at the youth club disco, I slow-danced with many young ladies to this song, followed by extended snogging sessions as a result.

I'd never seen the video before. Until today. Now I wish I hadn't.

At 0:45 I first thought "Hmmm, that's an odd way to greet someone..."

Then at 2:15 all became clear, then was confirmed without any doubt at 2:27...

I'm absolutely gutted...

This is a link post I made a tune I made this!
The back story is that I kept myself emotionally tucked away for nearly 8 years, fell in love last year and had my heart broken. Said heartbreaker completely cut off contact, blocked me on facebook and ignored all my emails. I get on with my life.

Fast forward 6 months to now, I post on FB that I'm off to Australia soon (Woop!) and she pops out the woodwork to send me a message. Not 'How are you, sorry it's been a while' or 'sorry about what happened'. Just a single solitary line:

"When are you leaving?"

Fuck her.

it's great here. seriously it's really really really good.
unless you're not white. then it's a bit shitty.
Feel free to message me if you have any aussie questions.
I'm based in sydney.
Best tip i can give you (if you are back packing around) is choose sydney last, it will bleed you dry and you can't make money fast enough to continue travelling.
As SOON as you get here, if you are intending to do casual work, get your RSA (bar license) and your traffic management (Blue Card)
www.jobs4travellers.com.au/pages/RTA-BLUE-CARD-TRAFFIC-CONTROL-COURSES

Also IT jobs are almost none existent at the moment, but you would do well if you are good at small business server.

This is a normal post The glass of muddy water
We met again for the first time in years at the Reading music festival. Somehow we managed to share a tent - aside from some cuddling nothing happened, but I reckon if I'd pursued it afterwards, the flame could have been re-ignited. But I didn't.

Sediment at the bottom of glass, clear water on top. She comes along and shakes the glass, making what was clear and simple into a confusing mess. Time passes, the sediment falls to the bottom and things become clear once more.

PS - I also live in Australia now. I have a much better standard of living and job I love (that I couldn't even do in the UK).

All they're doing is riding the back of the Payment Protection Insurance reclaim that's going on, offering to file all the paperwork for you. By all accounts the paperwork involved is pretty minimal and by no means worth the £1750 (based on their figures) they're taking off you for doing it.

Then they're implying that one of the conditions of taking you on is to smear their advert across the internet.

No wonder people think lawyers are marginally below pond scum.
