Adventure Time is ace, can't put my finger on why though: It's more than the sum of excellent writing & nice animation.
...am currently working my way through season four.

It is a prime example that you can have an "adult" cartoon without
forcing adult themes/edginess.

which is great, as many children hate cartoons for dumbing down
all the references in it are for adults

and some great imagination and general insanity. Some of it is somewhat disturbing, I can't tell if I should be letting my 4 year old watch it, but she seems to enjoy it, and I certainly do.
Saying that all the current CN stuff is pretty good, Regular Show and Gumball are my other favorites. Im 30 by the way :S

I can't quite get my head around that, is she staying married to him, are his homophobic and violent attitudes ok to live with, just not be in business with?
And why didn't the spirits warn her this was going to happen?
( , Tue 14 Oct 2014, 9:04, Reply)

Husband made her look bad, some PR twat somewhere says "best way out of this is to say publicly you're ashamed and sack him" she does as shes told. She doesn't have to disagree with her husbands twattish behaviour, she just has to pretend to.
Oh and I'm pretty sure you already know why the spirits didn't warn her. Its because her husband isn't dead, obviously.
( , Tue 14 Oct 2014, 9:20, Reply)

She says her husband has nothing to do with the business, after she sacked him from that named position. But he's a director of the company.

1 - He looked better when he was fat
2 - He looks bloody terrible
3 - He looks bloody terrible
4 - I think he's trying to be funny in these videos but I think he's losing his marbles.
5 - Did I say he looks terrible?

That he did so long on Radio 1 is unbelievable.
( , Mon 13 Oct 2014, 22:29, Reply)

I think he looks about 100% better actually. That's a shit-ton of weight he's lost.

what an insufferable cunt he must be to not get work in a field already full of insufferable cunts. Maybe he is one of the more'demanding' ones.
( , Mon 13 Oct 2014, 22:37, Reply)

But not as bad as the utter cunt who replaced him. One monday morning I was on the train and there was a nick grimshaw wannabe who did not buy his ticket at the station and thank christ the conductor went straight to him "ticket please" wannabe pulls out student rail card "leeds please" (single of course) conductor "not with that you're not, you're paying full fair mate" to which the floppy twat replied in the most annoying whining voice "fucking hell" you could hear the teeth of my fellow humans on the same carriage grinding at this point, after more whining and cuntery from this twat he was frog marched off at the next stop. For once I actually smiled on a monday morning, very rare for me.

( , Mon 13 Oct 2014, 22:27, Reply)

to favour the tenor ukeleles. Really, you might as well bung another couple of strings on and call it a guitar.
( , Mon 13 Oct 2014, 22:43, Reply)

I drunkenly ordered a a solid body electric ukulele in a hideous cherry sunburst a few weeks ago. I'm not sure why but I think it was to piss off the twats who turn up at my local for an open mic night and play crap 80s songs in an ever so slightly ironic way.
After a week of thinking about using it as a novelty key ring, then another week of trying to get the bastard to stay in tune for most of a riff because of the effing nylon strings I think I've got to the point where I like playing it.
I've tuned it to open D which I know reasonably well on guitar but it doesn't seem to make much sense on the ukulele for some reason but I'm getting there.

On its own just in to an amp it sounds shitty but it cost 27 quid. It's nice to fuck around with when you use pedals or software. My audio interface is knacker at the moment but I'll try and get something posted by the weekend
