The next time you see a politician open their mouth, ask yourself if they're really independent.
Do they accept donations only from organisations completely aligned to their clearly stated policies, or do they allow donors to influence policy and political decision making?
(

Well obviously.
But at least their is some, arguably not enough, but still some, legal obligation on them to declare their interests and publish the names of their donors. Charities and NGOs are becoming increasingly politically vocal, but they don't declare their interests or donors.

They may start off with good intentions about wanting to change things for the better
But as soon as they get anywhere near to doing that the Establishment and Vested Interests move in and assimilate them. They then think "what's in it for me" and won't want to rock the boat. It all ends on the front page of the Sun.

Agree totally.
There's enough evidence on YouTube of car driver inattention without this self-righteous prick who could easily have pulled over a little to let the car pass, but is obviously spoiling for a fight, then buggers off when he gets near to one.
Oh, and what kind of dick has both front and rear helmet cameras?
(
da5id <YOUR SIG HERE>, Fri 31 Jul 2015, 14:49,

at those points it's obviously massively sped up
How do you know he didn't give way at the junction anyway? The camera's mounted on his bars.
Why would he need to give way to pedestrians in the road, given he went around them anyway? (Would you say the same for a motorist, or berate the pedestrians for being in the road?)
As for moving in to let the car pass, swerving into the left to move back out again isn't a terribly clever thing to do. Would have cost the motorist what, a couple of seconds to wait for a better place to overtake. What makes his journey so much more important than the guy on the bike?
Granted, chasing the guy in the car clearly a twattish thing to do and they both talk sh*te but jesus, the amount of toss people post on this site about cyclists. Glad I don't live in London.
