I'm currently for Alternate Voting because the last arguement I saw was for it.
Are you for or against it? I really donno, don't think it would make much of a real diferance, it'll be Cons or Labs in power anyway. I think when I go to tick the boxes, my vote will go to whoever the last person to explain it to me says.

What's your view on it?

There's a telemarketer bothering our office
He's going through the numbers in sequential order but there are 60 phones in one open-plan office and we know who he's going to phone next. The 5th call was the office support manager who reported them to BT and the police as we're a government office and can't be cold-called. They refused to give their company name when asked and now he just hangs up after we introduce ourselves.

Have you ever grimly kept on to the bitter end of something despite it being utterly pointless and/or illegal?

EDIT: Apart from my mum, obviously.

Fuck this shit
What the internet needs to know is not IP v6 addresses, it is LUNCH (baby!)

What delights do you have in store? I have just nommed two mini pork pies, some nice chedder, a slice of granary, pickled onions and Branston pickle

Anyone doing anything nice this weekend? My Mam is busy, sorry.

Can you come up with memorable IPv6 addresses?
Maximum of 16 characters in quads of four (i.e. 1234:5678:90AB:CDEF). You can use the letters A through F and numbers in a 1337 stylee. so far I've only come up with B00B:B00B:B00B:B00B and FA75:1A9S:FA75:1A9S (FATSLAGS). See if you can do better. No K or N mean it's hard to do very good swears

What are you doing this weekend?

(, Fri 15 Apr 2011, 10:40, 4 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
Good morning.
I went to see The Jim Jones Revue last night (it was, of course, fucking superb). I turned to Lusty and one point and remarked 'what a showman' as Jones took to the speaker stacks. Unfortunately this was clearly not adequately conveyed because she turned to me in horror and said 'WHAT? You want to shag him?'. Err, no thanks.

I thought it was funny, anyway. The weekend is nearly upon us - what are you doing? I have my meeting with ex re overnight visits and my mother's 60th on Sunday, which I am expecting to be either cancelled or completely pointless, but we shall see...

Alt: what the fuck is wrong with you?

16 double sockets
I just viewed a house I might buy. Its a repossession so a good chance to move up the ladder etc.
Anyway, they have converted the loft into a granny flat, it has its own access. Its one large room with a bathroom attached. It has 16 fucking double sockets in this one room.

Thats 32 actual plug sockets.

In one room.

I think they must have been growing dope up there and needed the power. What do you reckon? I mean, 32 fucking plugs in one room? Thats a lot surely?

Alt q - guilty pleasures?

OK, one more
This time with a link:

after12.failblog.org/

So, which stupid things have you done when drunk? In a work do I went into the men's toilets looking for my boyfriend. The security guy tried to make me go out, and I started shouting his name... Jesus. Jesus is his name. My colleagues were very ammused and still remind me of all of it.

It seems some pictures include a lot of vomit, so be careful when you open them.

Hello, loves!
How are you? I'm very happy today. It's a Friday for me (no work tomorrow!!) and one of my best friends has been told she might have a chance to get pregnant, after 3 years of trying, and she is so happy for it!!

When was the last time someone around you was so happy that you couldn't stop yourself and feel happy too? Did you spend the day smiling at nothing?

Alt. Q: Breakfast (let's start properly today). I had cereals and a ham sandwich. I might have a banana soon as well.

I'm not really a Gig type person, it's not my scene, but I've just found out that The Offpsring are playing in Paris on the 1st Sept.
Does anyone here fancy it at all? I think I might go book myself an adventure with this month's payday, or do it on credit card or whatever. I've never been on holiday by myself, or a gig by myself, but this is the first one I really want to go.

There are only 3 bands I'd enjoy seeing a gig at, I think, and that's The Offspring, Dan Le Sac v Scroob Pip & Semisonic.

If no one fancies it, I'll be going anyway, it'll be cool to go on my first holiday by myself, and first one in years. Just a long weekend or whenever it is. But if someone would like to come, then that'll be ace too.
