CHRIST someone start a new thread already
Tennis. Do you give a shit? If not, how would you enliven it? Or any other sport? Get creative. Rugby is astonishingly dull and ridiculously technical, so I'd improve it by making every little niggly law punishable by intense physical pain. The ball explodes when passed forwards, spikes pop up underneath scrums to stop them exploding, etc.

Alt Q - something about cunnilingus or Denmark

I just left a note on another car in the car park
because the silly cunt decided to leave the nose of their BMW 4x4 wankmobile sticking into my bay, which made it bloody awkward to park my van.

I tried to make it as nice as possible as leaving notes it's stupidly passive agressive, but I don't know actually know who drives the wankmobile (though I have my suspicions it is one of the fat greasy spivs that I found smoking inside yesterday afternoon because they didn't want to go outside in the rain).

When they kick off about it, should I remain calm and reason with them, or just kick them in the balls and bite their ears?

Longest day of the year today, it's now downhill all the way to Christmas...
How will you being celebrating the summer solstice? Should we have a mid-year "Christmas"?

ALT: best citrus fruit?

A quick scan through that last thread confirms what I already knew
I am decidedly uncool, and have poor taste in music.

I am also saddened to learn that I am the same age as Monty. I thought that miserable old curmudgeon was a lot older than me.

What has pissed on your chips today?

Alt: chips - acceptable fare for lunch?

Who's going to miss me?

I'm also cooking a roast for lunch on a Tuesday, how wakki is that?

Poor old Plummers.
His melancholy plea for Youtube links to 'sadcore' tunes has managed to engender much scornful amusement - but, simultaneously, almost heart-rending pity - in me.

I was going to offer him a DJ slot at MECHA-BA$H but now I'm having doubts. MECHA-BA$H is quite obviously THE social event of the autumn, but how can/could it be bettered? The easy answer is 'it quite clearly can't', but try, why doncha?

And it has fallen to me to kick things off.

Alt Q- who would win in a battle of wits, Paxman or Monty?

I got to the 4th football question before giving up
What are you all going to do with the next hour?

I don't really have anything to do, except watch gifs of animals being jerks thanks to Labs. Or read about amusing mistakes people make when texting.

Alt Q: What's your favourite pasta shape? I like conchigli because they're like tiny little spoons that fill up with sauce.

SEE EVEN A QUESTION ABOUT PASTA IS MORE EXCITING THAN FOOTBALL

With the OT quiz team taking shape (4 queers and a dancer) or whatever they are calling themselves.
Now is a great time to see just how good they are.

Post your trivia questions and useless facts and see if team OT can answer them without using Google (I fully expect them to cheat).

Alt: If you had to go on one gameshow, which one would you go on and why.

Oh man
Not sure if you lot remember me running on and on about the wedding I had to do last year, where I officiated, did all the writing and stuff.
Well, they've only gone and broke up and it's not even been a year.

What did you have high hopes for but failed miserably at?

It would seem my meeting later has been cancelled
So the summer holidays have begun.
I ought to be excited, shouldn't I?

What should you be excited about today?

Alt: Where is the summer?

Good morrow, you sorry excuses for people.
Good weekend? Mine was pretty good, thanks for asking. I went to Sir John Soane's Museum which was actually faintly unnerving. It was like seeing inside the home of a nutcase. Nice to see Hogarth's 'Rake's Progress' paintings up close though, along with the sarcophagus of Seti I and a million other items. Then went on a pub crawl which was costly but hugely entertaining.

Sunday I got a text 'from my daughter' which was quite thoughtful of my ex - and helped me to cope with the heartbreak that was BGB NOT FUCKING BOTHERING TO CALL EVEN THOUGH SHE SAID SHE WOULD.

What did you cunts get up to - and what scintillating joys does the week ahead hold for you?

Awwwight dudes?
I've just got back from a weekend away at my holiday caravan on the mid Wales coast. It was sunny, peaceful, and beautiful.
So, in your opinion, where is the best place to go for a holiday in the British Isles?

I'm probably getting a laptop
I reckon 3GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB hard drive will do.

Any tips for good/bad brands? Good/bad places to buy from?

You're all smart and attractive people who know their stuff. *crosses fingers*
