# A message from the sport
Rob,
Our publisher, David Sullivan, contacted us today to say how much he too enjoyed your current Photoshop Challenge.
In fact, he loved it so much that he intends featuring B3ta in his regular column this Sunday in Sunday Sport.
You may have noticed that in our Internutter column we have ceased to promote any images on mobile phones, and, in future, we will leave any tags your contributors put on their work in place.
Keep up the good work!

Personally, not.

# ooooer
If he wants a b3ta column, we should get something out of it, like list of links to galleries.

But don't sell out to the man, man!
(, Tue 22 Mar 2005, 11:56, archived)
# I think you're jumping the gun
he's saying that they'll be mentioning b3ta in the paper - it's not a job offer.
(, Tue 22 Mar 2005, 11:58, archived)
# that means you'll have to buy it on sunday
just to check. Or um... find it on a tube, yes, find it on the tube.
(, Tue 22 Mar 2005, 12:00, archived)
# or just
read it in the shop. then buy something else.

like jelly tots.
(, Tue 22 Mar 2005, 12:01, archived)
# Or don't read it
and buy jelly tots

lots of jelly tots

# He's enjoying the current challenge?
Seems strange considering the majority use the word cnut and are sincerely meant.

Also, will it cause no problems that its bound to cause a mass influx of semi-interested new members?
(, Tue 22 Mar 2005, 12:04, archived)
# Column! (fnarr etc)
I would wait till you see the column. I envisage "evil kitten-eating communist net perverts b3ta are ruining our nation because they are immigrants/gypsies/poor/rich/celebrities/paedophiles*"

# Dear Rob
Our publisher, David Sullivan, contacted us today to say how absolutely fucking livid he is with your current Photoshop Challenge.
In fact, he is so fucked off that he intends raping my mum and dad and putting pictures in his column this Sunday in Sunday Sport.
You may have noticed that half of the staff here are now unemployed with bleeding rectums and that in our Internutter column we have ceased to
promote any images on mobile phones, and, in future, we will leave any
tags your contributors put on their work in place.
Keep up the good work!
(, Tue 22 Mar 2005, 12:38, archived)
# And
Will they give credit to the user who did and link to the b3ta site? They bl00dy should do.

hanging fire with the usual subject matter and for a week or two posting solely stuff that the Sport would never print? Stuff like running down porn or extolling the virtues of bumgay-ness. It seemed like a good idea before I typed it. I'll get my coat.
(, Tue 22 Mar 2005, 17:14, archived)
# doesnt quite ring true
the sport advertise b3ta

loads of new people go there

they see countless threads about david sullivan being a theiving cnut

what does the sport achieve from this?

hmmmmm snells like hoax.
(, Tue 22 Mar 2005, 17:23, archived)
# Shows they have a sense of humour?
Really, do most Sport readers starers know who Sullivan is?
(, Tue 22 Mar 2005, 19:38, archived)
# slap a copyright notice on beta
go on.. all images copyright of their respective creator.

then sue them if they use any.
(, Tue 22 Mar 2005, 21:37, archived)
# Everything is copyright of its creator anyway.
If you used bits of other people's copyrighted images to create a composite that complicates things, but I'm not sure how.
(, Wed 23 Mar 2005, 10:31, archived)
# Possibly
Copyright is automatically granted to the creator of a work unless said work is done for work purposes as an employee of a company or the piece is commissioned. Most b3ta work, although it uses copyrighted materials, should be safe under the provisions of fair use and parody, I'd imagine.
(, Thu 24 Mar 2005, 7:22, archived)
# If it is true...
I wouldn't like to see b3ta mentioned in The Sport at all. The "news" paper is full of stories about rape, accompanied by pictures of naked women. It is a magazine for sick perverts. David Sullivan should be ashamed of his "work" and his whole worthless life.
(, Wed 23 Mar 2005, 6:47, archived)
# yep
Thats pretty much laid down the law
(, Wed 23 Mar 2005, 10:00, archived)
# ....
it's a start!

Well done guys :)

Cheers for the holiday, but I'm still not sure, maybe a" and so on, ending in "Cheers for all the stuff, but I dont really want to let you use our stuff. Fuck off"

(, Thu 24 Mar 2005, 8:40, archived)
# I wonder if he'll print any of the images from the compo
in this column ?

If he does - Someone scan it in and post it here please, I'll never find a copy of the Sport in Amsterdam on an Easter Sunday..
(, Thu 24 Mar 2005, 10:41, archived)
# A fun idea...
needs some ££ though.

Set up "readthesportforfree.co.uk"

Buy 1 copy every sunday.

Scan it.

Host it on the web, promote and encourage everyone NOT to buy it, but read it on the site.

Tell the Sport that you'll happily "mention" their site and will even keep their logo in the pictures.
(, Thu 24 Mar 2005, 12:35, archived)
# Now THAT, sir.....
...is GENIUS!
(, Thu 24 Mar 2005, 12:39, archived)
# this
all the way.
(, Thu 24 Mar 2005, 12:49, archived)
# Now, I may be wrong (and two days late)
But if the pictures stolen fron b3ta are also 'borrowed' then what's to stop the originator from suing the sport?
i know it won't but I'd like to see it happen.
