I saw the ad tonight. Why revive an idea that was itself just a rehash/spinoff of an earlier idea, and that sucked? I think the only rationale for this kind of thing is that people have heard of it, so it's already got some recognition factor.
Also coming soon... the sitcom version of the Geiko neanderthals. This is why I almost never watch tv.

( ,

Exactly.
Again, I think it's all down to recognition factor... people already know the 'characters' so they probably figure it gives the show a chance.
And of course the only real 'purpose' for the show, just like almost all television in the US, is to provide a context for more advertisments.

Chorus:
Rhythym is a dancer,
it's a soul's companion,
you can feel it everywhere
Lift your hands and voices
free your mind and join us
you can feel it in the air
Ooh, it's a passion
Ooh, you can feel it in the air
Ooh, it's a passion
Ooh, ooh, ooh, oh
chorus
A far away light in the futuristic place we might be,
It's a tiny world just big enough to support the kingdom of one
knowledgeable,
throw away the loneliness and head back down,
I'm going too fast, I'm going too fast
chorus
I plunge right on through the office door,
and into the arms of the bottomless negro of love,
suddenly I can't remember,
how to stop, or turn around,
Do I have to get behind myself,
Do I have to turn around before I can point,
I flip 'til I can breathe
chorus

"As of an unknown date in March 2007 all wordfilters have been made inactive due to moot's faggotry, even the PENIS filter, which was quite possibly the most beloved wordfilter of /b/'s history" --talking about wordfilters.

haha I hear you
but I have to be honest, I'm personally that pathetic about some of the stuff on here :)

of course.
I mean, the whole Sheen thing I still don't get. The scatterbrain logic behind it and the absurdity does make me laugh at some times, but that's clearly not for me. And some of the people who post comics on here (i won't say who because I can't rememerb who, honest) are just so jumbled together and i can't make sense of it at all. But I'd still take the drunk brits on b3ta over the American teenagers who wish they were japanese on 4chan.
( ,
Sun 8 Jul 2007, 6:16,

honestly
I always viewed 4chan as being one of the most groupthink and immature places I could find on the internet. The maturity level there seems so low to me and they're like "Pool's Closed" omg we made an awesome meme and we'll ruin other peoples fun all the time because it makes us cool.
And this is coming from a guy who frequents b3ta, where every month there is at least one front page message joking about 9-11. Not that i have a problem with that.

Wait... are you Zach Braff?
I just got tired real quick of the nasty shit there, the goru and cp and animal torture. Someone here (can't remember who) was saying recently that they're completely immune to everything now, so nothing bothers them. Personally, I don't think that's a good way to be. So, no more /b/ for me. I do really like some of their memes though.
( ,

Also:
we had live dearth on and Zach Braff introduced one of the bands. I kept saying "Is that Zach Braff?", until everyone got very bored with me. Ho hum.

and to answer above, i look nothing like the man. I just thought the meme was fresh enough that I would put it in my sig to have a few laughs. I haven't figured out anything to replace it with yet.
