And I agree with the person who said 'bin the whole show'. A good magic show is always ruined when it's diluted with too much chit-chat, celebrity placement and audience-poll participation. Lenny Henry's never been funny and if i were Premier Inn, i'd seriously think about looking at that contract of theirs too.

All I'd want to see in 'a good magic show'.
is the acts coming on, doing their schtick, some applause, then the next act comes on, and repeat.
Preferably all doing close-up stuff, as i find all the 'making people disappear/get cut in two/change into an ostrich' bollocks to be idiotic.

Interesting stuff.
I find a lot of titles in scientific journals utterly soul-destroying in their literalism: too many take the form "X is Y". That's not a title. That's a conclusion.
Thankfully, you do find the occasional title that's more creative; more thankfully, titles (and whole papers) in the humanities - and I spend more time reading humanities papers than scientific ones - are much less likely to be literalistic. Some are even quite jokey: there's nothing so heartwarming as a paper whose title is a good, or terrible, pun...

In what sense is a shot being out of focus evidence that it's part of an ad? Isn't it more likely simply to be evidence that the camera hasn't had time to autofocus yet?

Like those before me, i am suspecting subliminal Pepsi advertistment, or negative advertising for the hotel itself.Because negative advertising gets many people to actually google the name of the hotel and find wonderful reviews (Yeah, i did that).
Moreover, the acting of the first employee that walked by before the boss was rather poor.
