Sophie's Fortune - Full Movie

So a year or so ago I posted a link to the trailer for this film. The full film has been online for a while now but I've just realised I never posted it here.
It's a short film - 30 mins or thereabouts - made on a 2 grand budget by Chris Cronin, a Northwest-based film producer.
It's a deeply silly family actioner - a massive nod to the Goonies/Raiders and the like - but a lot of it is shot around Rivington in the West Pennines, with some really quite good CG relocating the area to the Aztec jungle.
If you're familiar with the Rivington area, or just fancy half an hour of good old-fashioned escapism in your day, then it's worth a watch.
FAOD I have no commercial association with any of the people or organisations involved in this - my interest stems from the fact that I do a lot of work in and around Rivington and this gives a very different perspective on the area.
And no, I don't know how much of the budget they spent on catering.

He plumbs new depths of cuntery with this. It's amazing just how much cuntishness you can cram into a 3.5-minute vid. The talentless rapping, Paul McCartney whoring himself out, that ginger guitar cunt (who spontaneously writes a fucking song, sorry, an "anthem").
My capacity for unbridled hatred grows by the day and continues to impress and surprise me.

Brilliance.
Having seen Tom & Jerry so many times over the years, it's very strange indeed to see the audio being performed... at times it was as if the sound had been taken from its 'natural' origin in the cartoon, and overlaid onto a concert of classical music (am not sure that makes sense anywhere else but in my head! :) ).
Very enlightening, really does bring home the amount of organisation and effort it took to produce. Looks like it was fun too - the percussionists/foley artists at 2:18ish seem to be having a whale of a time with that bin (and later on with snoring, guns, banging on bits of pipe, and barking)! :D

I loved the film
Was like watching a crazy angry circus.
But I didn't like the music so much. It was ok in the action, but it was too loud and bombastic in the quieter bits. Also I would have like to have actually HEARD the rock wagon playing; such a cool idea but the music completely drowned it out.
