Mildly hopeful for some common sense happening in the next few weeks but I won't hold my breath.

Was interesting watching Sajid Javid in the commons just now trying to virtue signal how much he's supporting people that need this as a medicine whilst trying to make sure he's in no way advocating people "enjoy it".

Still even this minor step will be enough for May to lose it. My guess is that the home office is doing this without the support of no.10.

Young for it, old against. It's so easily available who cares? Maybe if we legalised it and taxed it, it could fund the NHS. Sadly the video uses troll tactics to generate extremism, whereas marijuana is just another drug, alcohol is arguably more destructive, nicotine is profoundly addictive, and caffeine hides in the bushes.

Marijuana is a racist term designed to increase the perceived threat of Mexicans spreading an unknown narcotic via black people. The correct term is 'cannabis', which many people were familiar with at the time and did not want criminalised, but they were scared of the unknown 'marijuana'.

But on the whole, fairly balanced.
