and a bit full of people wanting to talk about/stalk about french lesbians for me. so as kitty asked for an update on my ass-toning trainers, and i had a 6.5 mile walk home in them last night, i can confirm that they are comfortable. do they work? well, when i got to the gym (AT 6.30AM CAN I JUST SAY) this morning, my legs and ass took one look at the cross-trainer and started screaming "you must be kidding." so i think they probably do work a bit. which is good because i really didn't think they would.
what gimmicky shit have you fallen for and did it work or not?

Background: My brother and his friends have come to visit me for a week. So that none of them has to sleep on one of those awful inflatable mattresses, my flatmate (a very nice and sexy French girl) offered to sleep with me on my bed, then they can use her bedroom and all of us will be more comfortable.
Right. Yesterday night, while on her sleep, she came to me, hugged me and kissed me. I told her a couple of nice words and pushed her apart smoothly, so that she didn't wake up.
After that, I had a lot of confusing dreams with her. In fact, I'm not sure if all of them were dreams, as it all felt very real, and I know for sure that a couple of things happened. For example, I dreamt (I think) that she grabbed my hand and made me hug her (you know, as we girls usually do) and I remember having my hand on her tits and thinking on my sleep: "not bad...". Then the phone made a noise (low battery) and I moved back to my side of the bed. Well, the phone did make the noise, and I did move to my side of the bed... was I hugging her or was that just a dream? Mmmmm...
We've done weird dreams before, so to have something different, why are you confused?

Apparently there is a great deal of tension between China and Japan right now; China are trying to claim some potentially oil-rich islands controlled by Japan.
What are your thoughts on this Far East conflict?
Failing that, why the fuck are you awake and on b3ta at 6am?

I want some. I know it's best served cold, so I have waited nearly 5 years and I am ready to unfurl my hatred. I plan on going to this persons house, and in the garden, writing out the word CUNT in weedkiller. I will do this in Winter when the grass stops growing, so for a good 5 months this prize maggot will open the curtains to see an 8 foot high tribute to his ocean going cuntiness.
I would like the idea of sending gay/animal porn, they still live with their parents, and they all have the same initial!!
Any other great ideas for carrying out pointless acts petty hatred. All ideas welcomed.

I find monthly threads about old chocolate bars a little tedious (no offence 'Prone).
Tell me what's currently rocking your stereo, so that I can mock it and tell you it's shit.

I'm trying desperately to remember the name of a lemon and lime pop drink sold in the late 1980s. I keep thinking of Top Deck, but I think that was a shandy...
Anybody else have any fondly remembered products that have been discontinued?

So I've started a new case, and it's gone from 0 to GUILTY in about 10 seconds. I am really going to hate this one, it's fucking horrific.
What has made you angry recently?

I raided my sneaker collection for a pair of fresh Pumas, broke out a Rock Steady Crew shirt and headed off to the Forum to see the mighty KRS1 from Boogie Down Productions. I remember when his first LP came out in 1987.
It was excellent - I simultaneously felt really fucking old and 25 years younger.
What was the last juvenile thing you did and did you enjoy it or feel a complete tit?

Here's something for DG, nicked from a friend's FB status:
Listening to the audiobook of Doctor Who and the Crusaders. According to this, the Doctor's grand-daughter, Susan, stayed behind in post-apocalyptic London in the 21st century to build a new life with "David Cameron"...
Today's question: something, something, something, something, question mark.

It's getting on for midday. Many of you will soon be considering a break in your working day in which to take luncheon. I believe it is customary to indulge in a thread about the same. So, what has the servant boy put in your sandwiches today?

Today is friday, dress down day across many offices nationwide. Running late this morning I have put on flip flops rather than shoes and socks and am subsequently wet cold and miserable.
What stupid clothing choices have you made in the past?

I watched that posh tart's cooking programme last night and she roasted a chicken and somehow the smell and taste came flooding back. I would only eat free range though.
Would I be wrong to go back now after so long abstaining? I'm torn.
