BANDWAGONS.
Why do you get so angry 'bout them?
Just look at them as a multi-perspective view of some given theme, reflecting the variety and creativity of mankind.

Heh heh, that's the first time I've ever said "hummus"
It's just culture, people enjoy feeling part of stuff and they express that partially through in-jokes and language. It's just human nature and very deep-seated.

Bandwagons aren't bad in themselves
it's just nicer when somebody puts a bit of thought into a joke, rahter than slap a different caption over the same old picture.
Not that slapping a caption over the same old picture can't be funny, it just usually isn't.
Having said that, anybody who doesn't like a bandwagon can always make a different picture and post that instead - we all have the power to change the content of the board.

Well,
personally I like running-gags very much, and bandwagons come quite close to that.
But I agree, some contributions to bandwagons suck. But I've also seen very funny ones.

Well bandwagons as such are not all that bad
but it somewhat shows a lack of originality especially sign bandwagons where the only shopping involved is changing some text - that isn't to say that bandwagons don't throw up the odd gem once in a while but on the whole they tend to be repetative. Now threadwasting is a severe crime punishable by DEATH. \perhaps an exaggeration.

Agreed with most of what you said however, threadwasters shouldn't be killed without first being well-hung drawn (preferably using Photoshop) and quartered

I'm sick an tired of case modders taking perfectly good toasters and deck chairs and turning them into computers. So I thought it was time for reverse case modding, I've turned a database server into a bookself.

In this particular case: Where am I being stupid?
