Aww, puns are easy
Anyone with a pulse can find a pun that hasn't bean done. It's a bit harder when the weather's chilli, granted, but with a little effort a play on words can sprout from anywhere.

I think it looks rather good
My only suggestion would be a change of font. I can tell it reads Wayland the Smith, but the "ayland" part hurts my eyes. If this isn't already the bands font of choice, then I would see what else fits with the artwork.
And are this band any good? Have they got any online demos?
Edit: and are those two Professor Yaffle of Bagpuss fame?
3 I think i'm with you on the font front, just want a nice oldy worldy stoneriffic one

Yeah.
I dunno why, but listening to Incubus, I got a feeling of them being only about the music. As soon as I saw pictures, I realised that, yeah, they're just another image-obsessed band. :[ Or they look that way.

it's rare that your and my musical taste agree, but I do like Incubus. Particularly Stellar. I think they are head and shoulders above most of the same genre of band, and are possibly less image obsessed than most.
(mr horribleup yours, dickface,

I agree.
But, like, I love listening to a band and never knowing what they look like or anything, otherwise it usually spoils it a little bit. So in my head, they were completley about the music and nothing else, but they're not anymore.
