[challenge entry] WARNING: This sex toy may piss on your self-confidence.

EDIT: Should be alright now.

# Any eliptical ring qualifies as a subtle Portal reference these days~
Should probably play through 2 again, I really liked it.
(, Thu 7 Jul 2011, 19:05, archived)
# I really enjoyed it too!
I did the co-op with Mr Prodge :D

Edit: You on PS3 or Xbox?
(, Thu 7 Jul 2011, 19:11, archived)
# Nicely! I haven't had the chance to go on co-op yet. Looks fun though.
And I'm on Xbox ^^

# Boo!

# ^ This
Don't know anyone with it though, all my friends spend their console time masochistic pleasure out of being OMGPWNED by 12 year olds playing Call of Duty 17 :(
(, Thu 7 Jul 2011, 19:51, archived)
# I'm partial to a bit of Call of Duty.
4 was the best one; I'll be surprised if Modern Warfare 3 is going to be better.

I only know one person with Portal 2, and I think he's gone to watch Transformers 3 tonight. I wish him luck.

# I pwn all the kids on black ops and bc2.

# Agreed.
And I'm steering clear of all Treyarch releases out of spite.

# Oh man... Black Ops...
I pound a full magazine of rounds into him and he doesn't flinch. He shoots me in the leg and I go down like a sack of shit.

Fuck that game.
(, Thu 7 Jul 2011, 20:04, archived)
# Haha, it can be frustrating.
And that anti-lag system they use is fucking useless.
(, Thu 7 Jul 2011, 20:06, archived)
# And it takes ages to be sorted into a game.
I could go get a degree in computer science and take a bath before I finally get to play.

(, Thu 7 Jul 2011, 20:25, archived)
# I won a copy of the first game as a Steam download when the 2nd one came out
but it turns out my video card is one step too low on my Mac Pro tower.

The fucking thing is good enough to handle professional editing & graphics software, but it can't run goddamn Portal or TF2, even.
(, Thu 7 Jul 2011, 19:41, archived)
# I have the same problem with my Mac.
Shit-hot at design software but useless for gaming. Minecraft's alright though... mostly.
(, Thu 7 Jul 2011, 19:51, archived)
# When I got my (now ancient) laptop I went to MacExpo a few months later and picked up Giants: Citizen Kabuto and No One Lives Forever for about a fiver each ... still quality games :)
(, Thu 7 Jul 2011, 19:56, archived)
# The game library, unfortunately, isn't as big for the Mac.
But the games they have aren't bad at all; I saw CoD4 in the Apple shop once.

I tend to stick to emulators, for the Mega Drive etc. They work really well on Macs :D
(, Thu 7 Jul 2011, 20:07, archived)
# This is very true
I have an array of Sonic titles that I pop into Genesis Plus on a weekly basis :D
Also SMS Plus gets a regular airing ... I'm intending to buy a new turbo computer at some stage soon, hopefully it'll then be up to running Kega Fusion and I can play Knuckles Chaotix and Sonic CD too, fingers crossed
(, Thu 7 Jul 2011, 20:13, archived)
# I've had Sonic CD on here for a while now.
It works pretty well indeed. I'd get more SNES ROMs if I had a decent controller. It's fiddly as hell with a keyboard.
(, Thu 7 Jul 2011, 20:26, archived)
# It was ages ago that I set them up
but Emulator Enhancer and Gamepad Companion both (either, or working together, can't remember it was so many years ago I set them up) allow you to use a USB joypad - I use my 360 controller for games that need it - although strangely enough I prefer the keyboard for a lot of them!
Anything you'd recommend on the SNES front? I've only tried the Marios and Starfox so far ... well, and Putty Squad, but I loved the original of that title back on the Amiga anyway.
(, Thu 7 Jul 2011, 20:35, archived)
# 360 controllers work on Macs? o.o
This is news to me. I shall have to look into that. As for the SNES, I would recommend games like Super Metroid without a shadow of a doubt. Also, the Donkey Kong Country games are worth a go too, with the 2nd being my favourite.
(, Thu 7 Jul 2011, 20:39, archived)
# The USB ones do anyway, probably not the wireless.
Cheers for that, I shall do some investigating :)
(, Thu 7 Jul 2011, 20:41, archived)
# Just found a driver for the USB 360 controller (which I have)
I'll give it a quick go now ^^ cheers for that. And no problem!

EDIT: Works perfectly on Kega Fusion :D

# 1 issue left according to their statement
"News International has announced that it is closing the News of the World - Sunday 10 July 2011 will be it's last ever edition."

So yes, this sundays will be completely bought out by e-bay types and will likely reappear in daytime tv bargain hunt 2035 by saddo's wearing space helmets looking for a fiscal reward for doing fuck all apart from sitting on their space backsides in the future.

# it's a diversionary tactic
it's putting some people who had nothing to do with the allegations out of work, and no doubt making more money from the re/launch of their next Sunday paper.

I'd rather it carried on with a sense of honesty and the people at the top were actually seen to be being punished, not the unfortunate and innocent reporters (as innocent a NI reporter can be) who joined in the last 6 months.

# Yeah, I imagine they will probably end up going to other papers or media.
Something stable and secure, so they won't be going to Channel 5.

# Yes it's a diversionary tactic
But Captain Give-a-fuck has seen the Give-a-fuck signal shining high over the skies of Give-a-fuck city, he's jumped into the Give-a-fuckmobile and raced out of the Give-a-fuckcave. Sadly, as a consequence there's no-one left to give a fuck about NotW journalists losing their jobs.

Reading Murdoch's press release makes me want to vomit. He was directly responsible for the type of 'journalism' practiced there. There is no-one with a greater share of the blame than him.
Now watch the Sky merger go ahead anyway. The Government is so far inside his pocket they can't even see daylight. I hope the whole corrupt house of card falls down and takes every one of those cunts with it.

Just trying to speed up my workflow, and try and find my own style in zbrush. Its a bloody fiddly program - like nothing ive ever used before. Once you get used to it, its really powerful, but it hurts my brain to use...

Sculptris is good - ive had a wee mess with that.
