I’m driving to camp (7 hours. ugh.) on Friday
morning, so it’s my last daytime shift for 9
weeks or so. (unless there is internet access
at camp, there is meant to be but last year
there wasn’t...)
Seeing as I’m leaving and all, and I haven’t
before, I thought I would just do an itty-bitty
spam for the place I work.
www.fjb.org
They run all kinds of great free and really low
cost programs for blind and visually impaired
children, their families, and for the children
of blind and visually impaired adults.
I’m going to be teaching arts and crafts at
their summer camp this summer, which like most
of their programs, survives on donations...
Just saw nicecupofteaandasitdown.com on BBC News 24 in their "look at the newspapers" (Guardian).
