The number of concerned “Labor voters” talking of two-tier justice and the minifig case on social media has been quite illuminating.

I created an open WiFi network in my area that gives people internet access in exchange for a drawing. Even a squiggle is ok. Submissions are then analysed, given an arty title and description, and exhibited in a po-faced online gallery.
To date I have received over 150 submissions and not a single penis. Fully expecting and hoping b3tans to change that.

was that rissoles in the chip shop were made from the food scraped off people's plates and someone once found a toothpick in theirs, someone's friend's uncle.
So this is fine.

I'm sure Iceland used to sell them, I suspect school dinner leftovers would have probably been preferable to those.
I really don't like how the cheese in that article looks like it's been formed from ear wax.

...There She Goes Again by the Velvet Underground and Tired of Waiting For You by the Kinks.
Trigger Warning: Contains violent misogyny.
Exhibit A:
Ray Davies: "But you keep-a me waiting, all of the time, what can I do?"
Lou Reed: "You better hit her."
Unacceptable.

Hello. I have had three books published in the last four weeks. That's really ridiculous, so I'll repeat it: I've had three books published in the last four weeks. I can't say for certain that I've read three books in that time, so I've briefly achieved every author's dream of going full Garth Marenghi. The books are:
Solve The World's Greatest Mysteries - A really fun book for kids 8-12 or so looking at things like the Bermuda Triangle, the Curse of Tutankhamun, Bigfoot, Skeleton Lake and many more whoppin' bafflerz.
So Bad It's Good: The Art Of The Terrible Joke - A big collection of jokes both old and new, plus needlessly in-depth looks at where joke formats come from, why they're in Christmas crackers and so on.
Adulting Made Easy - A fun, funny guide to the basics of being a grown-up, like cooking, cleaning, paying bills and not having your house repossessed. Ideal for students or the recently bereaved.
The top link is to my bookshop dot org store, the titles link to Amazon UK, your local proper bookshop might have 'em, and if you want, here is a video of me describing them all in rhyming form. You might have your doubts, but eventually you'll be Suede.

Inspired by b3ta legend Happy Toast's recent reconstruction of Raymond Pettibon's iconic album cover (used with kind permission), here's Scooby Youth's major label debut for Gruffen Records, Drool Thing.
Fear of a canine planet...
Try playing the spoken word section alongside the original Kool Thing for bonus lols.
[TRIGGER WARNING: contains mild innuendo and scooby snacks]

I replaced the entirety of the verbal exchange between Kim Gordon and Chuck D with Scooby Doo dialogue. If you want to hear what both sets of lyrics sound like together, then click on the link below.

from the spoken word section and replaced them with alternative lyrics from Shaggy, Scooby, Fred, Daphne and Velma.
Here's a version that shows what those lyrics sound like together...

I've always thought they go together very well.
(, Thu 4 Jun 2026, 7:29, Reply)
This didn't work, for the reasons given above but the rhythms of the two synced well so you obviously tried and something else might.
It's better to lead from what sounds good in your mind's ear than anything predicated on some visual or verbal joke. The songs themselves don't care that you want them to fit together.
Also, don't overdo repetition of phrases; that gets old very quickly. Try to keep the novelty of it alive all the way through, and remember - above all - you're never going to get any money out of it, so the effort-to-reward ratio will depend wholly on how fun it is to hear the two together.

That's really thoughtful. I'm an old git with too much time on his hands, so the only real barometer for whether something's worth doing is whether I enjoy it, and I had a real blast making this. I'm fairly new to this mixology malarkey so I'm learning as I go. I appreciate all the feedback.

In the style of Film Noir.
Knowing Cage, it's either totally fantastic, or completely terrible. I'm hoping the former.

on whether they filmed it in black and white, or just turned down the colour after filming (exactly like turning down the colour on your TV).
(, Wed 3 Jun 2026, 14:25, Reply)
It wasn't even going to be colour originally. It was adapted to fit both after things kicked off. This is why the colour version looks a little odd. There are some crazy colours in there though from what I've seen, so probably worth a watch in both.
(, Wed 3 Jun 2026, 16:05, Reply)
Not like a colour film with the colour turned off.

have a Noir effect on their effects package, rather than filming on the same film as existed in the 1930's.
You are probably noticing the Noir uncanny valley...

Beautifully shot, so good. B/W is definitely how it was balanced for contrast and lighting.
The guy who mixed the music needs his balls crushed in a vice tho, like he crushed the music into a pumping mess. Probably mixed it on his laptop speakers. Fucking dreadful, but ignorable for the most part.
