This is a normal post Looks like I'
ll be dusting off my Wii to play this. I've not even completed Twilight Princess yet! :(
(, Wed 4 May 2011, 14:04, Reply)
This is a normal post I got rid of me Wii ages ago, around when Twilight Princess was out, it left me cold to be honest.
Skyward Sword looks ok, not too keen on the controls taking up so much of the screen, I won't be getting a Wii to play it, but I am looking forward to the Wii2 in action in June.

I will be getting Ocarina of Time 3D for the 3DS.
(, Wed 4 May 2011, 14:09, Reply)
This is a normal post The Wii 2 intrigues me
As long as Ninty invests in more 3rd party developers we should be OK.
(, Wed 4 May 2011, 14:15, Reply)
This is a normal post They say it's slightly more powerful than the PS3 with HD graphics.
The controller sounds intriguing, built-in six inch touch screen. I did hear* that the machine would have a built in projector of some kind, but that may be guff.

The whole industry looks to Nintendo as the innovators, interesting gubbins ahead.

* meaning I read it on the interpipes
(, Wed 4 May 2011, 14:27, Reply)
This is a normal post This is met with a great deal of skepticism ;)
I've read many reports of the controller allowing "grinding" whilst away from the console. I like the suggestion of a projector. Thinking of buying a HD console? Then you'll need a TV. Most if not all Wii owners, probably don't have a HD telly, so they won't been to fork out more $$$ when you can project it onto your wall.

Nice ideas, but I'll wait until it's shown at the E3 conference on the 7th June :)))
(, Wed 4 May 2011, 14:49, Reply)
This is a normal post I think it was said that the controls were for the [insert whichever trade show] demo, and can be hidden.
I certainly hope so.

This is a normal post I would consider getting this one but...
...I'm not too keen on the Wind-Waker-esque look of it.
(, Wed 4 May 2011, 14:05, Reply)
This is a normal post NOOOOOOO!!!!
Wind-waker was lush! Loved the graphical style.
Which is why I've got Spirit-tracks (&the other DS one) on my laptop.
(, Wed 4 May 2011, 15:01, Reply)
This is a normal post I personally prefer the more realistic style, of say, Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess.
But then again, OoT raised me as a nipper, so it's kinda biased.

I do like the idea of players being taken to court and convicted due to their actions on the pitch. From what I've seen recently, most of the divers could be done for fraud, at the very least.

This is a normal post Even with the benefit of doubt
that it was an accident, what a twat not even to see if she was ok. You see this attitude everywhere in football, from the diving premiership muppets to the overly agressive parents at a Saturday morning under 8s match.
This is why my kids play rugby, a much more civilised game and one where from the age of 7 any back chat results in a penalty and guess what, no one back chats and everyone gets on with the GAME.
(, Wed 4 May 2011, 14:26, Reply)
This is a normal post Ditto.
My kids play Rugby and no-one back chats the referee.

I once saw a parent sent off for questioning decisions and the club in question having to provide a written report on how they allowed this sort of thing to happen!

This is a normal post The parents are to blame
Every other week, when I watch my sisters kids play in the under 8's league there is always one parent that gets in a ruck with another parent.....I love football but it's getting ruined.

Doesn't seem deliberate to me, he played the ball back onto the field and ran on to get it. His eyes would have been on the ball or the other player so he can be excused for not seeing her there, even if he had he could have hoped she would step back out the way but she didn't; they're both equally to blame so there's no need for an apology.

It's quiet now cause no-ones out but when there's a high risk of tornadoes there's about 30 to watch.
