It's just that whenever I've seen someone new exposed to photo booth, they make a variety of faces usually restricted to dental appointments.

I was elected as representative of "everyone" at an Emergency Meeting of the /links Committee held in my living room this morning. My election followed all applicable rules and regulations governing the nomination of a representative, having been nominated by me, seconded by me, and in the absence of any dissenting voices, unanimously approved by all present members of the Committee (i.e. me).
Honestly, if you can't be bothered to show up for meetings, then you've no right to complain if you don't like the decisions made in your absence.

This one has great little whoop at the end. Probably because it's 375829
www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cCFvNVNSt4&feature=related
Also there's this one. It's the 375617. No horn or 'tone' though, so perhaps a little less exciting:

From the sound of things though, this must be the best. Sounds like it was orgasmic for the cameraman:

A mini Canon camera usb drive, but they are seriously over priced and only 4gb each. There are also bootleg ones that "sort of" look like a Canon SLR, in a cheap knock-off kind of way, but I'd half expect them to melt as soon as electricity went through them.

(, Sun 11 Mar 2012, 13:10, Reply)
Terrifying for sure, but the translated version was less so as the driver was a total prat, he was basically saying "Yeah, the tsunami warnings were going off and everyone was told to get to high ground, but I just carried on driving round 'cos I'm from inland where we don't get tsunamis".
Well worth a watch on 4OD here: www.channel4.com/programmes/japans-tsunami-caught-on-camera/4od
There are more people like him, if you're like me you WILL find yourself shouting at the screen "GET A MOVE ON, THERE'S A HOUSE FLOATING TOWARDS YOU!"

I think people only get flack if they only post their own stuff, and don't stick around to comment, as far as I can see.
I'm not fussed about all that, like.

Alright guys, I'm incredubiously nervous about posting this as it's really my first attempt at a website.
It is bound to be riddled with problems, and I seek my fellow b3tans for help/advice/comments on it. I've noticed quite a few rephoto websites getting onto the newsletter in recent years... historypin being the main one, and I think there was a great one last week.
Well, I've been doing a PhD for the last 3 and a half years, 2 years of which has been making this website.
Yes I know 2 years.... bear in mind I pretty much threw myself into the deep end of programming before it. Anyways, have a look, sign up or just have a gander at the explore page to get a preview of some postcards if you find it interesting.
Programmers, if your interested in helping or just giving advice, please let me know... its a phd project, i'm open to anyone helping out.
... if you don't hear from me within the next 20 minutes, its because i've put my laptop away and proceeded to get hammered at the bar I work at.

Sorry for posting on top of you.
I like how the location markers show the direction the photographer was facing.
(, Sat 10 Mar 2012, 21:57, Reply)
thanks bru, when you upload an image you have the option of choosing direction (albeit very basic point and click)
I have plans to allow a more hci friendly interface for selecting the images on the explore page... that way you could use the timeline to see similar images in an area,

The site does require silverlight in order to run. I'll have to tweak some html to make sure if no one has silverlight - that it does in fact give the link to install silverlight.
Cheers for letting me know,
