I'm numb to it. When I see something like Goatse.cx, I'm more curious about how much he's practiced, rather than being offended by it. While it's not a typical thing, it's a normal thing taken to extremes.

I work for myself, so I get on at all hours of the day. Day shift is a LOT different than night shift.
Don't undersell the night shift, though. There are a few (mostly lurking) that are quite talented. Our volume is less (and spam a bit more), but there is still talent to be found in a pinch (I try to help, as I can).

I think many British take a little more pride in grammar, and the jokes, et al, have a little more flavor. They're often more a turn of phrase than a 'jump in your face' type of joke.

To make them match (since the board is in grayscale) try making your text image in greyscale. You'll get a lot more bang for your 256 colors and not have to suffer JPG artifacts.
