I'm posting this now as I'll probably forget; also you'll have the chance to see it and decide to listen. Another album anniversary, this time today is the twentieth anniversary of Sigur Ros' first album, Ágætis Byrjun. One of my all time favorite bands, I've seen them many times including in Iceland, paid, and my honeymoon in Zurich. Great live. They also inspired me to start learning Icelandic. They're premiering an anniversary mix of the album which streams at 10pm tonight. The first album if theirs I heard was "( )" but this is dope as well. Lend it your ears, as it were.
*edit* looks like it might be a live performance from 20 years ago.

Having to cancel quad biking after having my shoulder dislocated the week before at work, not so much. I also met a woman who used to live next door to, and babysat, Bjork. She showed me a book she made when she was about ten, a hand drawn and written story, it was nuts.

It’s been a while. I’ve been lurking though so it never truly felt like I left.
Anyway I’ve made some new comedy videos. They take place in the offices of three different football agents, and explore the murky goings on off the pitch of the beautiful game.
The first one is here and I’d love a praise with a light dollop of spanking from you.
Thanks! xxx

We wanted to appeal to fellow B3tan's to help us spread the word or sign up to the race and help us raise money for a 5-year-old London girl who has a form of Cerebral Palsy and needs an operation that's available in the US, which will enable her to walk for the very first time.

Thanks for all the great support over the years. It's been very much appreciated - Apols for the long post.

As I've just spent the morning dealing with a man living in a £2m house who is too tight to pay a very reasonable bill for fixing his computer.
But I've also refused to pay a price that I knew was ripping me off, and think it's important to do so to in many situations even when it would be easier just to roll over. To do otherwise is to allow dishonest people to profit from your own weakness.

He might get a £200 fine. Meanwhile, the video has earned around £4000; presumably much more from the fame generated.
I wonder how much that police/fire/ambulance response cost - even ignoring the trauma caused when they die in these attempts.
It's immoral that YouTube pays people to do these things, and does so little to control it.
(, Tue 11 Jun 2019, 19:36, Reply)
The fine is the responsibility of the authorities.
The emergency services also have to attend to bikers/sports players/smokers/drinkers/vehicle crashes/bicyclists/DIY fails/swimmers/gardeners/parachutists/horse riders/pet injuries/obesity related illnesses/scrabble wounds/sailors/junkies etc etc so why not them?
People like doing it, they are clearly climbers, strong and fit and have trained for this, not some kid wanting to make it rich on YT.
The majority of the people watching can work out what will happen if he falls, up to them to watch.

This scene was when I first stumbled acros Brass Eye when flicking channels back in . Funniest thing about it is they have her reading huge key cards off camera so her eyes are all over the place. That's what made me realise it was a spoof show. Then it clicked they were talking about Vertical Fields. Can't beleive that was in 1997.
