Scope for a comedy metal band, surely.

I might try a few on my Stylophone. My only party trick on it at the mo is Rhythm is a Dancer.

The stylus movements certainly match the notes, and the classic Sylophone glissando is definitely there.

I must watch it again.
I can't find the one that was my favourite - I *think* it was a monologue of a horror story which, as a kid, was genuinely scary but there was still the underlying knowledge that there was a punchline coming up. Brilliant stuff!

Yeah, it always amazed me how a guy could be so funny just sitting there talking about not much, and yet so awful at doing sketches.
I recommend his teaching children how to tell the time story.

It was compulsory viewing when I was a kid, made extra special by the fact it allowed me to stay up past my bedtime. He was a genius that IMHO doesn't get the recognition he deserves - some of his sketches were brilliant. I've just rediscovered this collection from some of his earlier shows.

The poppy cult is strong in your strange country.
(, Sat 9 Nov 2019, 11:21, Reply)
A cult? To remember our relatives who fought and died? When we stood alone against the greatest evil in history? And won?
What the fuck do they celebrate in your country?
(, Sat 9 Nov 2019, 19:48, Reply)
The Royal Legion do great work, and I'll buy a poppy as usual. Not sure about wearing it anymore though; yes the braying insistence is becoming a cult and one of the right at that. Unfortunately.

Blatantly using it to advertise a pub or the sort of nationalism that leads to conflict doesn't seem very respectful.
Enforcing poppy conformity smacks of handing out white feathers in 1914.

Johnson and Corbyn to face off in live BBC debate

(, Fri 8 Nov 2019, 12:52, Reply)
These debates are fucking useless. We need to re-introduce Gladiators and have these cunts chased down by the Wolf up a wall.
(, Fri 8 Nov 2019, 13:09, Reply)
Hand them both a Lirpa and have them fight to the death in a make-shift arena in the middle of the studio.
Johnson would certainly have a strength/weight advantage, but Corbyn could use his wiry agile frame to push for the win. Smaller target, too.
You could have the winner fight Sturgeonboss.

I met Wolf and Woody Harrelson having a drink together at a bar in Majorca back in 2000.
They were putting on Spanish accents to try and throw me off the scent, but I bloody KNEW it was them! I've got camcorder evidence and everything. I really should get it digitised.

Hello B3tans. I've been lurking here for 18 years without posting (is that a record?).
I've watched all your videos, read all the newsletters (when Rob can be bothered to write one) and played all the games.
Anyway, my daughter loves watching songs on YouTube but most of them are absolute horse shit so I thought I'd make some myself.
Sorry it's not ironic or rude or sweary, but if you've got little kids I hope they enjoy them.

A thing i did for some friends / unknown artists in the US.
It was aired on Killradio in Los Angeles.
It took up too much of my life and gave me sleepless nights. I didnt even sort out the small volume levels before sending it.
The feedback was really good but i shelved part 3 because i started a new job.I have no intentions of doing another mix or mixtape ever.
