God I don't want to be here. I want to be outside doing something constructive instead of stuck at work.
Being as I shall probably retire before you lot, how shall I spend my retirement?

Alt: How will you spend your retirement, should you have a reasonable pension of course?

question about pronunciation.
Does 'Birmingham' rhyme with 'Sam' or 'hum'?

Luncheon
I was encouraged to see, on Youtube, that Millwall FC fans did not allow the marauding hoodie scum ruin Eltham High St a few nights ago.

Not necessarily for the right reasons I'll bet but they were seen off with baseball bats and a flea in their ear.

What heart warming examples of community spirit and cooperation have you encountered recently?

Alt: Lunch?

Side Dishes
everybody is happy to crack on about the nice main dish they made, but what about side dishes? I've got a nice venison casserole bubbling away in the slowcooker, and I've got 30-45 minutes when I get home to make something to have with it. What would you make? I'm thinking mashed potatoes - perhaps with something added?

Alt: what's the best thing to have with chips from the chippy? I'm going chicken and mushroom pie.

I know everyone posts about breakfast and lunch
So I am here to say I've had a motherfucking grilled cheese
Probably 8 margaritas and some motherfucking mac and cheese

At this moment in time it seems important

What is important to you?

Dead thread is dead.
Tonight me and the missus are thinking of going to the acoustic night at our local, something we haven't done for over two years. What are you up to this evening?

Alt: it would seem that the original line of Black Sabbath is reforming to record new stuff and tour (assuming the drummer doesn't kark it owing to his dicky heart complaint). Is this a good idea?

Man has been to the Moon
and didn't find anything there. Of course I'm discounting the Sunday Sport's claims that there was a Routemaster up there...

Anyway, should we fund a return to the Moon or should we explore the deep seas?
And whichever you think, how should we do it? Describe your craft.

Alt: Blue Peter or Magpie?

My sister got engaged at the weekend...
...and instantly, all the women in and close to the family have gotten a bit touchy and funny about the whole thing. I have reasoned that since most women think about and subconsciously plan their wedding day from a very young age (or so I've been led to believe), they are more emotionally affected by someone else getting married before them.

I've been trying to figure out what the male equivalent of this would be. Something which men think about and subconsciously plan from a young age and would be slightly upset about another man close to them doing before them. So far I've come up with the following:

-Loss of virginity
-Getting a car
-Becoming an astronaut
-Meeting a member of a girl band

Any thoughts, theories, opinions to add?

Sushi Bento Box.... I fucking <3 Farringdon
/lunchtime AC

I'm paying all your living costs and expenses, going out money, 2 average holidays a year, transportation, and all that... I mean, within reason, call it £50kpa. During this time, and it can be as long as it takes (on average for people doing it) you've got to retrain / study for a new career.... what will you study? What will you retrain to do?

Alternativly, I can give you £100k right now, one off payment, (which I understand is less money than 3 years training) is has to go towards a buisnes of some kind. It's up to you, but what is the buisnes? Let's thrown in and extra £50k if the buisnes is a non-profit charity. All the money has to go towards the buisnes/charity though.

Final Alternative, you can have £50k, to do what you want with, spunk it all up the wall for all I care.

------

What option do you chose, and what do you do with it?

Best lyrics ever
Impress us all by recounting your favouritest lyrics of all time. Bonus points will be given to anyone who manages to do this without looking like an emo tool.

Alt: Much easier for all concerned; worst lyrics of all time.

Alt alt: Apart from the aforementioned Blackwood tour de force, what is actually the best song of all time? My vote goes to Faith No More's "Digging The Grave", as you're asking.

That thread has become boring now.
A man in Jersey has been arrested following the murder of six Polish people.

What are your experiences of Polish people?

There is a Polish guy working for us. He is a very good technician and once showed me a video his girlfried took of him catching loads of Mackerel on the beach.

Righto. Thread too long.
Seeing as it's PUNK WEEK, make a vow to do something PUNK. It doesn't have to be a big thing - just acknowledge in some small way that the spirit of AN-AR-CHEEEEE is alive and well.

I'm not going to open my post. Yeah, I said it.
