Dead thread appears to be dead.
Facebook keeps suggesting that I look at a photo of berk taken on her birthday when her boobies are rather prominent.

When did technology last suggest something useful or inappropriate to you?

Out of Sheer Desperation.
Lunch thread? I'm eating Pescatarian Lasagne which involves celery for some unknown reason, but it tolerable, if not that great.

What exciting things are you having for lunch?

Alt: I recently read a book which made me realise that there are reasons for becoming a catholic priest other than a desire to bum small boys. What preconceptions have you had challenged lately?

I've got a new Dentist
For the last three years I've been worried that my old Dentist was in fact two different young Indian ladies that just looked similar and I was unable to tell the difference, it wasn't really a problem as I never had to address her by name, and she/they was/were as cute as a button/s so when I was told she/they had left I was a bit dissapointed as I assumed I would now have some crusty old chap with massive fingers.

But no.

My new Dentist is a smoking hot red haired petite irish girl.

The whole time she was checking my teeth I was listening to her talk and just hoping that I didn't get an unexpected erection.

What has been a delightful surprise to you recently?

Weekend
How was your weekend? Productive or restful? Productively restful? Wastefully enjoyable? Enjoyably wasted? Elegantly wasted?

Evening! *nods*
I've had a dull but productive weekend. Salmon, new potatoes and peas for dinner and a bottle of wine on the go.

What are you up to this evening?

Moron Nonce said he won't post again after the previous thread.
So...

Um, I need a question now, don't I?

Just because i think it is right to move the "Don't make us travel" Travellers on from Dale Farm I got called a NIMBY.

I take offence at that, I am not a NIMBY and I hate them. In fact, I'd hate to have one live near me.

What's the worst thing you've been called?

But I am currently engaged in a Twitter conversation with one of my all time musical heroes. Darren Hayman, once of Hefner and now of..well, Darren Hayman.

On that note, what is the best thing to happen to you ever?
(, Fri 16 Sep 2011, 21:22, 27 replies, latest was 14 years ago)
AWw HELL Yeah.
Totally got some lovely blue cheese from the delicertesant that I'm going to put over a ribeye steak that I'm serving with oven pumpkin chips done with rosmary and garlic and chilli. And then for desert, I totally got some mother fucking rolo pudding.

FUCK YOU, SOCIAL LIFE, I HAVE AMAZING FOOD.

Today I did hospital stuff, it went alright. I donno what it is but they pumped up for something i didn't know I really had. I figure someone important will tell me what it is at some point, they had my name and DOB right, and I hate make them think they've wasted their time or think I'm a bit silly for not knowing what I have. Something to do with my bones.

What's your generic thread stuff all about when who what why etc.

Fuck it, bored, new thread time.
Having had to spend a whole hour 'training' some people (if you can call giving a brief run down of part of you job to some people training)on Wednesday people keep telling me how well it apparently went and asking me if I enjoyed it. This fills me with a vague sense of dread that they will try to make me do more of it.

What's filling you with a vague sense of dread at the moment?

Alt: What's the one pointless luxury you spend more money on than is reasonable?

AltAlt: Anyone play poker? I quite enjoy a bit of Texas Hold 'em but can't ever seem to find enough people interested to get a game together.

What do you have to celebrate?
I am sticking the mother-in-law on a train home this morning, which means I can enjoy being with my wife and daughter without interference. This is definitely a reason to celebrate.

ALT: What do you wish you could celebrate that you can't?

I think this weekend we should all try something new we've never tried before and report back on Monday.
It needn't be something big or very exciting, but maybe something out of your comfort zone.

What would you try?

Why we should teach kids to code.

Do you think kids should be taught to code? When? I don't know when Year 5 is, 9? 10? Seems a bit late to me.
