Damn it all
What is the book What is it What
All I can remember is that it was a trashy paperback, probably a sci-fi horror, and it featured some evil guy who towards the end is rent asunder by a nutter with an axe but it turns out the guy is immortal and one of the final scenes is all the sliced up bits of his body slithering their way up the stairs still alive and conscious but in tiny little gory pieces.

These four are nearly finished but not quite, and I'm going to do 12 more of them. It doesn't matter that the bottom two's outlines are touching because they're all going to get cut out and stuck on their own background anyway. (Also I haven't forgotten the green one's horns; she's a hornless mutant.)
I like them and have not problem with people posting WIPs

I like seeing WIPs because I find it interesting seeing people's idiosyncratic ways of creating stuff.
I do try to limit mine to when the board is quiet, though, as they're not really what I imagine people want to see when it's busy. (Plus you get people complaining that they've seen the same image seven times.)
Any person caught committing a crime, the law will be allowed to strip them bare, sell their teeth, hair and clothing. Also, be able to re-market any 'stash' they may have on their person? More what you had in mind?
EDIT: How rude of me - top shoppin' there, sire. :D

I was talking about this tonight.
One of those Police programs showed some person who was caught driving a car with no tax or insurance or license. It all seemed to be treated like a big joke as the guy's car was confiscated and he was allowed to walk free to appear in court later.
He was already a banned driver and in charge of a potentially lethal machine!
I reckon they should have a specialist short-stay prison where the local constabulary can arrest and instantly incarcerate people like like that for 7 days minimum. Nothing fancy, a just a porta-loo sized box where they stick them for 7 days with nothing but dry bread and water. Not even light.
It'd take the pressure off the courts and might make a few of the repeat offenders learn to be more careful. Most of them don't give a hoot about the current system.

We all laughed at it in rhetrospec
but at the time we sat there and absorbed by each episode - like when Star Trek was on in the 70's now we look at it and laugh "Khaaaaannn!"

Sci-Fi can't take the piss out of its self like fantasy
That was some thing that annoyed me today, when they put fantasy in with sci-fi, they are two different things and fantasy has been around longer then sci-fi

Farscape was pretty funny.
And all the people who say "What the thing with the puppets" can fuck off back to your star trek with its poorly written plots and long string of nonsensical bollocks.

Rigel. To be honest I thought he was the worst looking puppet, he REALLY did look like a puppet.
Pilot was pretty fucking well done though to be honest.
Provided you kind of ignored the first two series, or at least watched them last it was a brilliant program.

I liked Farscape. Crichton's patter could get annoying sometimes, but the blue girl was fun.

To be honest I barely knew what the hell he was talking about a lot of the time because it was so american.
The derangedness of using it to aliens and his slow mental breakdown was kind of brilliant though.
(JeruWar and Piss,

that was great; the feeling that he was an american alone in space, among aliens
rather than american trek, where they are spreading democracy across the globe, er universe.
(The Alchemistking of the needlessly complicated,

Yeah, also despite the constant americanisms he wasn't overtly american thankfully.
I especially liked the fact pretty much every series ending with them blowing something fucking huge up.
