"Western Buckinghamshire Finishing School" entertains some bizarre ideas... not least of all the notion of:
"...and also onto the other two girls who were now naked and lying in a wriggling pile on the floor both holding a toothbrush and taking it in turns to brush each others teeth."
It's not a fetish. It's a naturist Public Service Announcement.

Whilst hunting for animal images I came across this site. Yes, that is a cat with a parallel port on it's head, and no it's not photoshopped. There's much worse to be found and it's uncomfortable viewing at best. It's rather disturbing to see what goes on in the name of science...

i'm not sure I want to click on that.

As someone who has been aspiring to be a vet sometime in the next twelve years, I have very strong opinions about what is right and wrong when it comes to animals. For example, I think testing on animals for medical uses is all right (not necessarily a good thing), as long as it is done in a humane manner. Putting a parallel port on a cat's head is hardly "in the name of science". It's sadism.

can anybody help me out here? I'm not familiar with the paint filters in pshop at all...
I mean, it looks kind of a little like a painting, but a crappy 70's painting. I want renaissance or classical or whatever.

a canvas perhaps, I can see a bit, but a stronger contrast so you can see the lines more, plus fade it a bit, Use liquify and a massive brush that covers the whole thing and lightly nudge the whole thing around slightly.
( ,
Wed 2 Apr 2003, 23:58,

but I could try your liquefy trick...
( ,
Thu 3 Apr 2003, 0:23,

I did a bit of liquify to ooze it up but it didn't change it that much then i 50% sumi-e'd it and a bit of canvas.
Also - I never changed nuffin Guvnor!

none of the art filters do exactly what you think they will do - you have to play around a lot - try gaussian blur a tiny bit then maybe dry brush or watercolour - but you have to much about with the settings a lot.
i like what you did.. 60s/70s crap acrilyics have a charm all unto themselves!

brush strokes/sprayed strokes filter, followed by texturizer/canvas filter.

duplicate the layer a few times, then try out the filters on each, move them a bit and then settle on your final pic by experimenting with the transparency/blending of the layers
( ,
Thu 3 Apr 2003, 0:04,

layer mixing can give you some very nice and unexpected results. Try out the layer type too - hue, multiply etc...

smart-blurred and then used angled strokes...still just ends up looking like a water color at best.

Uhm... Not really. Some days we are bursting with hummus, and others, we are more then a little lacking.
But there are rules. No reposting, no threadwasting, and no using other peoples work are a few big ones.
Oh, and if images are NSFW ((not safe for work, such as porn and so on)) you gotta make it a clicky.
