In St Albans, the driving test centre used to be on a side-road off a one way street. Someone I knew was on his test pulled out of the driving test centre - at the bottom of the side-road, the examiner asked him to turn right when you were only supposed to turn left. The guy turned right, and the examiner failed him on the spot.
