I was at Delicate Arch in Arches National Park on a summer solstice
And some druid wearing full white robes and pointy hat passed us on the trail. At first we thought he was a KKK guy, but then we figgered it out. It must have been over 100 degrees out, so kudos to him.

A few years ago I was up Primrose Hill/London
And all of a sudden there were people turning up with tables gallons of wine and tons of food.
And a percussive gypsy band, a fire and lots of dancing.
All free paid by the locals!
I don't remember a thing after the mexican magic mushrooms came out! ; )

We had a load of them fellas at the park over the road from our house, at first they were hitting trees with sticks and were quite scary looking - full white robes! Somebody phoned the police because they were so convinced it was the KKK (In leicester! I ASK YOU!)

Famitsu under scrutiny for a possibly biased review
In Japan the be-all-and-end-all of video game reviews is Famitsu Magazine, where essentially what they say goes as far as games is concerned.
Now they have given the new PSP game Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker a perfect 40/40 (to be honest I just got it and it does indeed rock for a handheld game), but what they failed to mention at all is that they are also involved in the making of the game. Just as well the game is good I suppose.

I just finished the game about an hour ago (still all the little extra bits and S ranks to go though!) and it is ACE. I have never played an MG game in my life, nor any game that involves shooting people and running around. I'd probably give it 40/40 too to be honest! =D

Yeah I justl looked it up on Wikipedia:
"While an experienced marksman can tell the difference between a blank and a live cartridge based on the recoil (the blank will have lower recoil), there is a psychological incentive to not pay attention and, over time, to remember the recoil as soft. In more recent times, such as in the execution of Ronnie Lee Gardner in Utah in the United States in 2010, a rifleman may be given a "dummy" cartridge containing wax instead of a bullet, which provides a more realistic recoil"

While I disagree with the death penalty,
what is wrong with a firing squad? It's quick and effective which is more than can be said of a lethal injection with doctors refuse to participate in leading to wrongly inserted needles etc. IT might be a bit messy and gruesome, but killing people isn't a nice fluffy thing to be doing

Its the Tube! Live! Online!
This is quite nerdily fantastic - do any london types fancy using it to time their arrival at the station down to the last second?!
There's one for the whole country too:
traintimes.org.uk/map/
GC says no

The temptation to drop something on the tracks and watch the jam build up is really high
That's preety cool. I remember when it was done for some city a couple of years ago. Nice to see it upgraded.

You must konw underground tube jams
it;s when 1 train is stuck and it causes all trains behind it to stop until the line is at a standstill. There are pspots where different linese cross over. a stoppage at the right place could really screw the london underground over big time.

Nice
But unless I find a station with wifi and a view of the platforms, I've no idea how accurate it is
There's a lot of trains travelling by road around Shepherds Bush
