OK, what's the best terrorist attack you could come up with?
Say you've got at your disposal a dozen potentially self-killable fanatic fuckpricks (at least some of whom can fly a plane), some explosives (plus detonators etc.), vehicles, basic knowledge of the target country's transport infrastructure and rudimentary chemistry expertise to knock up some ricin or whatnot.
I'd get them to hijack a plane and crash it into a nuclear power station, thus releasing radioactive waste over a wide area, coordinated with a simultaneous ricin attack (or even anthrax, if available) at nearby hospitals so the casualties from the power station can't be taken there, on top of the inevitable casualties from the poisoning.
Anyone beat that?

I don't think you can deploy like ricin like that
and nuke stations (again AFAIK) are already built sturdy enough to withstand something like that which is probably why they didn't do something similar first time round.

Face 2 face with the bomber?
Just before Christmas 2004 my girlfriend and I were waiting for bus - on the other side of the road we noticed a guy with 3 large holdalls. He was really odd and we wondered how he got to where he was with these bags. A few weeks later I got on a bus and the same guy was sitting in the front seats with the same 3 large holdalls. I felt so uncomfortable I got of the next stop. I though I might be over reacting and that the bags could contain pirate DVD's or something... Now I'm wondering if that day was a dry run?

French forces have currently taken over two West African countries. French forces are accused of various war crimes, including robbing banks.
But this news is barely reported. So people idolise the French.
Also worth noting that Saddam Hussein had promised his oil rights to France if they got rid of the embargo.

Who idolizes the fucking French?
I thought everyone thought they were cunts. But compared with Freedom Fries they certainly looked better. I think the core point here is they had FUCK ALL to do with the phony fucking wars Bush lied his way into and thus are substantially less liked to be al-Qaeda'd. Plus they don't wantonly fuck off the Middle East for no other reason than "they tried to hurt my daddy."
