Alfosno Gerniou Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation. October 8th, 2007 at 11:08 pm Yes, I did miss your point about a profit motive, because I ignored your point about upselling. If you need to upsell, you have not packaged your goods correctly. I achieve what you think of as an “upsell” because I sell a package of goods. There is no need to upsell because they already have every product I sell in the one package.
Sometimes a customer can ask for a single component but I do not listen. If they are a customer they already have this component, and if they are not a customer I am not interested in what they say.
By ignoring the pests and selling to the best, this is how I am a success.
I teach this rhyme to all my staff.

sorry, torso is busy right now. call again later.
and you've just popped up a very old memory of mine. i went to university in hamilton, and the first time i'd ever heard of hamilton was as a child - the murder of john dick and their infant son by wife/mother evelyn. the case was known as the torso killing because a few kids found the mutilated torso of the man's corpse on the escarpment (infant was found later encased in cement inside a suitcase). the story fascinated me as a child and i went to school there partly out of morbid curiousity.

as promised to woodgie, the first in a series of some.
nutters: the cat woman. not often seen around town, the cat woman is known and feared in communities all over the world. she will have anywhere between 5 and 100 cats, all of which seem completely ignorant of how to use a litterbox. far from cute, cuddly, loving pets, the cat woman's menagerie will be snarling, spitting, yowling maniacs who will attack at will. trying to explain to her that her beloved babies are actually furry nightmares is pointless, she will not believe you. the cat woman can usually be seen wearing a housecoat, slippers and stockings, sometimes accompanied by hair curlers. she wears these as she daily roams the streets in search of her wayward beasts. approaching her will often result in a mouthful of abuse. due to her nutter status and distressing odour of feline incontinence, the cat woman is a prime target for the local kids. they will follow her(at a safe distance), yelling a choice selection of colourful words and phrases, until she chases them. the cat woman is, apart from the disgusting smell, harmless.

I like a bit of computer drawing sometimes
I can't do it, I'm considering investing in a cheap tablet just so I can do it comfortably, but knowing me it will be another one of my wastes of money that I can't afford =]

i love the part
where he breaks down and cries when he sees the beef. it really makes you realise how bad things are meant to be for them. it's the defining moment of the film for me.

I'm only assuming that it's meant to mean toast, but I'm afraid of asking questions such as these in case I get laughed at for being a young scallywag =[
