I caught an artery doing this too. Squirting blood several feet into the air. Somehow it clotted when I got back from the pub, and after passing out in the loo I bandadged it up and went to bed for 8 hours before deciding it needed a trip to A&E.

Injury was about a month ago,
but the stitches pic was taken 1 week later just before I had them taken out. Final frame was from yesterday, so not a bad turnaround really. Pity my thumb is still totally numb down one side, but oh well. I'm left handed, so it doesn't effect my love life.
