Most of you will be aware of my ongoing struggle with Tony Blair and the folks at his office regarding a publicly available email address. They promised to have this whole email thing sorted out by the new year. It’s the new year. I have stuff to get on with and so does Tony.
So...
As of 9:00am on the 6th of January 2003, I am officially on strike. All I will be producing, be it at my weblog or on this board, will be continued and relentless repeats of the picture that haunts my dreams.
If you wish to (finally) stop this insanity, you might want to contact the chappies in Tony Blair's office and inform them by mail or fax that you would much rather do so by email. You especially must do this if you live in another country - or even outside of London. I'd even go so far as to advise such far-flung folks to start their letter with the following statement:
"This letter reaches you from _______________. Getting it to you cost me _____. Please make a note of that figure and refer to it specifically in the paragraph of your reply that expresses your profound appreciation of my monetary sacrifice."
Downing St request that you include your full postal address in any correspondence. That is all.

I need to reformat again, but I haven't had the heart for it yet. *sigh* took realplayer off the hard disk along with a bunch of plug-ins that kept getting errors.. will there ever be trouble-free computing? Ahhh, but then what would we all do for

as a playing codec. I might try again tonight.
And change the 'punchline' while i'm at it.
Thanks.

1999 NEC - a din-o-saur! but crap when we got it (and then too lately i have been completely hummus free, and normally i am only marginally good at keeping this piece of junk running... and the dear beloved husband is so clueless as to need help to cut and paste something, so... I get no help unless we pay thru the nose or i find a kind word in a message board somewhere ;)

which you don't want to go on forever and would like to break it but you have it re-inforced by the fact that someone else HAS come along each time you keep your options open for the future.
Is there any way of comparing him to other people you've been in a similar situation with? Does he stand head and shoulders above them?
You probably have a niggling decision made already and eventualy that will probably be played out.
(all i'm saying is of course potential nonsense)

I've met in a long long time. It's been ages since I felt like this about anyone.
We just talked. I told him I wanted to break up but he won't let me.
So I guess we'll see how it plays out.

then explain to him why and tell him how it normally plays out in the end. Give him a chance to get out early or proceed with 'the knowledge'.

it seems you were using crappy software, the trick is to extend the length of each frame rather than use 10 frames for 10ms of anim

I could have told you that... I haven't installed all my software yet and I'm lazy so the stuff I'm reduced to working with is crap. Thanks, though =) I appreciate it!

I need to shrink the file size of an animation and I don't have half the software on my new computer yet that I need... any suggestions? I've got a 15 frame animation that's 497kb...

from www.jasc.com about 4 megs of nice animation doohdah which is rather good at optimising files
failing that, mail me the file (addy in profile) and i'll see what i can do

Will do, thanks... but for tonight I'm just going to leave it as 228kb and let people click on it, me thinks.
