Thunderbirds deserves a special praise
even with the massive special effects and music budget aside, it was (and still is) one of the few kids shows that doesn't talk down to children. Instead of a lot of the light hearted, cheapo shit you get these days, Thunderbirds gave kids a lengthy, serious narrative with big stakes, imaginative sci-fi tech and a surprising amount of emotional maturity. For that reason, I can still enjoy them, in spite of the relative tackiness.

Cobby's "claim to fame" is disputed...
Peter Dyneley was the voice of Jeff Tracy in Thunderbirds. According to an interview with Gerry Anderson it was his voice that was used for the "5-4-3-2-1..." rather than Cobby.

Being a sarky cunt seemed to suit Spiderman a lot better than being a soppy wretch. And it was good to see the female character actually DO something, as opposed to just being the useless damsel in distress.

it's not though, is it?
It's some spud in an expensive studio playing over what was a great song. It's not creative, it adds nothing, so...what's the point?

he's just jamming along.
if he learns this tune exactly then he will have prepared himself more for other performances and tunes and arrangements. it's practice. what do you mean it adds nothing? it sounds different to the original. the drums are louder. and different. you not liking it doesn't mean it has no artistic merit dude... it just means you don't like it. what's the point of any art? for the creator and other to enjoy. if that guys having fun and others people like it then it's art eh? are you hungover?

Call me 'Dave'.
The media is getting desperate to find a new story to kick Jimmy Savile and political paedos off the front pages. Today's effort from the Mail On Sunday is a case in point. The suggestion of Cameron having an affair with Rebekah Brooks is nothing new, but resurrecting the story now might do something to take peoples' minds off the recent Tory
peado rumours.
Cameron is being made to look more normal by the suggestion that he has sex with adult females. Talk about Changing the narrative..... These texts and intimate messages could easily be misinterpreted.
Is this how the media hopes to draw attention away from their paedophile problems?

I'm more disturbed by the Mail's suggestion
that Liz Kershaw's 3 slightly annoyed phone calls in response to being dumped miles from home caused a man to kill himself.
It's a horrible accusation that seems based mainly on the fact that she worked at the BBC and is therefore inherently evil and capable of mind control over a man 5 years after an event.

is the mail desperate to bury the Savile story?
The main story on their site at the moment is about him. Cameron's sex text shame is some way down the page.
