They say they only work for partial or mild colour blindness.
I'm guessing that if you don't see, for example, red clearly, they just manufacture them to dim out all other colours to bring the intensity down to match how well you see red. Then your brain adjusts to the dim view as if you were wearing ordinary dark sunglasses.
(Though I know colour vision and colour blindness is way more complicated, and not even actually RGB like a telly. And there are even some women that can see four distinct primary colours, so you could design a colour blindness test that 99% of women and 100% of men will fail, but only if you have your own chemical lab to manufacture the necessary inks).

Sorry I thought your general aversion to Bond films was because of his theory about whistling.

Looking forward to this
But there are a few worries: the mix of photo real backdrops and cartoony characters is a bit strange and the massive delay in the release of the film and letting go of one of the directors (who did Up!) due to issues with the final act… although Pixar often do that… saying all that, I'm in.

It is a little jarring, the dinosaur is amazingly cartoony, always love seeing pixar stuff though as you inevitably go "Wow!!!" when you see how amazing things look.

Yep, and often their shorts are great too
Partly Cloudy (the director of which is doing The Good Dinosaur) and The Blue Umbrella are fantastic, but I think my most recent fave was the Teddy Newton short Day and Night. That is properly good.

I love their shorts, it's one of the things that makes going to see their films that much better.

Yeah I guess it focusses you
on the characters. Quite a lot of the classic Disney animations have a similar contrast, like Bambi. In Pixar we trust.
