And I might go to the pub this evening too.
So this is shaping up to being a super Sunday.
And it's the 3rd round FA Cup draw at 6pm.
Are you having a super Sunday?

I'm really really gutted =( This is probably the worst thing that has happened to me this year.

Broken Britain, _this_ is Tony Blair and Gordon Brown's legacy.

What are you doing tonight?

Well, hangover.
I need to sit outside in the cold all afternoon too, curse being a football supporter.
What are you doing today? And do you have a hangover?

And I'm sitting eating toasties before attempting to write more of my talk for my interview next week. Any words or phrases to try and slip in?
Anyone else sitting about, home alone and bored on a Friday night?

Building dust fiasco update: we were out of our house for 3 days. Cleaners spent a day cleaning, builders did more building, it got worse again. Got back in last night, had to stay upstairs as downstairs is all dust. Surveyor is in a stand off between contractors and freeholder, both of whom accept no blame and worse still, contractors are lying and saying they wanted to put plastic sheeting down for us but we refused. Fucking cunting liars.
Today they were working and there was fumes and dust and our smoke alarm went off and I was out on the street with the baby for 3 hours. More cleaners have just been but say it's going to get bad again as the dust settles. We have about £250 of laundry needing done (curtains, cushions, all the baby stuff that was on the landing and needs cleaning now) that the contractors and freeholder are refusing to pay for. I have a cough and feel rough. The baby is crying. It's snowing. Next stop solicitor (if we can get hold of him), then the local news.

EVEN THOUGH IT'S WINTER. Take that society.
Have you stuck it to the man recently?

Snow is fucking bent.
What are you doing this weekend?
(, Fri 26 Nov 2010, 14:56, 177 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
I think I drank too much last night and I'm knackered. I also wish that when I moved into my house I'd bought a big squishy comfy sofa instead of the average small not very squishy sofa I have now.
What have you been regretting recently?

What're you louts having for lunch then? I have a nutella sandwich. :D

Tell me something that you're planning to do in the near future. Something interesting that doesn't involve my my mum, your fucking nommy lunch or this weekend.
If I do not deem your reply interesting enough I will force you to go to a two-week long football match with Darth and Bobby, both speeding their tits off on crystal meth and feeling 'really chatty'.

It's Friday and I have been paid. Woo fucking hoo. I'm still broke but I have already bought a fair few Christmas presents and I've a new credit card with a frankly horryingly large limit, with which to further my descent into bankruptcy and homelessness.
How are you trying manfully (or womanfully) to convince yourself that everything's OK and you shouldn't 'do a Michael Ryan' today?

What have you watched that has been rubbish and not worth the time? I watched Scenes of a Sexual Nature on bbciplayer last night and it was absolutely dire
Alt Q: you've been waiting for it. What did you have for lunch?
(, Thu 25 Nov 2010, 14:05, 231 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
I like it it's pretty good. But the sex scenes in it are fucking stupid.
If you've been shot in the shoulder and passed out from blood loss, you do not go back to a motel and then have sex later that night.
If you're in the middle of sex you don't want your partner talking about your mother.
So my thinking is that either the writers have never had sex or more likely want to see the female cast in their bras at any opportunity.
What would make sex scenes on TV more realistic?

What is the highlight of your day so far??
I purchased cookies for the rest of the team and made a big jug (fnarr) of filter coffee. This has improved morale from "murderous" to "dangerous" in our office so I feel I have made a difference today.
ALT Q:
How is the snow affecting your day? Mine - not at all
ALT ALT Q:
Whats for lunch? Bacon and egg mayo sarnie, can of coke and Chilli crisps
OK, I lied about the snow and lunch
(, Thu 25 Nov 2010, 12:06, 4 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
we can't be talking about poo when it's almost lunch time.
However, I have no more questions to ask just now, so, following previous examples, this is your chance to ask me anything you want (I just hope this thread is not very popular and don't get tons of questions)
Alt Q: If you have a better idea for a thread, just post it, but not about disgusting things, please.

Curling. Sport of hardened Scottish lesbians. How much better would it be if the name were taken to its logical conclusion? Rather than being provided with the stones in advance, competitors would have to exist on a high-fibre diet and curl out a log, wait for it to harden and then cast it down the other end of the lane. Imagine how much extra skill is involved in laying a cable of the ideal size, weight and shape.
What disgusting measures would you take to improve which sports?
