Politics, and evening.
I'm quite interested in this whole English Defence League thing, and no side is trying to reason with the other, so they're getting stone-wall'd. None of them would admit the other half has _any_ good points what so over and can't see that considing a few minor things could get the other half to conseed something bigger. For example :-

The EDL say they talk for the working class and that there is an undercurrent of fear about islam in the UK, and the other side say they don't speak for anyone. Well, that's silly, they're putting a voice to a fear against islam extreamism, and a lot of people really do think that the UK is going too far out of it's way to help islamic people, in the respect of benfits and goverment services. But you can counter that arguement by the other groups of people who claim sick benifit when they shouldn't. You could probably easerly get the EDL to admit they're just as much in the wrong (if they didn't stonewall).

There are a lot of people who think the voilance seen in the middle east will, reach the UK. It's a valid concern, it's happened before, it's not impossible. But the verious goverment forces are standing up and taking note of it, they're expelling the likes of Abu Hanza. They're listening in when they have reports, and where are these reports coming from? Exactly, not many non-muslims in a mosque. You could get the EDL to admit there that it's not muslims, but extremests, that are the problem. But what about extremests in the EDL? They don't condone violence, apparently, so maybe they should report members who are showing signs of hatrid to non-extremest muslims? Makes sense really, the people in the mosques are.

Hitler was the embodiment of evil, but he liked dogs. Both of these are facts. One does not negate the other.

See, simple negotiation, in all the interviews I've seen and heard to day, such as from the radio, the presenter badgers and rams points home rather than letting people tie their own noose, which would have been so easy.

The truth is, no political movement represents my feelings and views, it wouldn't be right to ask for them to cater for one person. I don't think there are lots of problems with this country, I don't know all the solutions to all of them, but I strongly believe that not letting 'the other side' speak just fucks things up.

*steps down off soap-box*

*tumble weeds and cricket sounds, sitting on the front porch on a cold night drinking a glass of sasperella listening to those new beach boy boys on the wireless... in a stained vest with shotgun by my side*
Well now pilgrims, lovely night we have ourselves here. It's nights like these that I'm happy to be here in the great state of southern carolina. I has me sasperella, I has old Monster *maingy mutt by my feet looks up and back down again* and I has me music. I reckons on a night like this, all a man needs is the company of a good women, I miss mrs gonz to tell you the truth, I miss her something bad, gawd rest here soul. Still though, I have the cool calming night air, I has my sasperella, and I has me memories. God's not been to kind to me, delt me a fair few blows, but heck, I don't mind, and I'll tell him so when I meet him myself.

Tonights for my troubles of a long day, I gone done made myself a pasta with a slightly mustardy creamy sauce with fried onions and liver with a nice crust. I even, gosh dang it, I even flombayed the whole thing and thought for a moment that I'd set fire to the kitchen...*cackle and thigh slaps*... I used a whole mini-bottle without thinking about it, WOOSH, I never did see such a flame in all my days. Only trouble though, during the whole cooking process, the crones kicked in out of the blue and I lost my apptite. Tasting good, really really good, just can't stomach anything solid.

Anyway, partner, I'll scootch over on this here swinging chair, open up another bottle of a cold one, and you can tell me what troubles you.

alt: most awesome job in the world that you'd like to have?
I recently thought of how cool it would be to be a seashell collector.
I'm sure there are machines that do that, but I like thinking of a man walking across a beach and collecting them.

If there anyone around that can help me with my resume pronto?
I don't understand the formatting and all that shite, Jeff kindly offered to help but I'm not sure if he's around right now.
I'd like to get mine into this email as soon as possible, it looks like a good job I may be able to do.

alt: Favorite haircut, describe it to us.
Mine was a faux hawk, my friends did it while I was drunk. The one cried because she thought I would be mad at her, but I loved it.

alt alt: What are you doing this evening?
(, Thu 28 Jul 2011, 13:47, 204 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
Unfinished sentence lols.
I've just been checking my emails and found I had an update from the Galtres festival in the form of a newsletter. You know how these things have articles in them, and they sometimes publish the a bit of the first paragraph as a lead in, after which you have click the link to read the full thing? Well, one of them was about the availability of ear defenders for young kids and ran as follows:

"We've ordered a load of groovy kids' ear defenders and will be selling them at the festival so you can protect your children's hearing if they're near one of the big stages. I've already reserved one set for my little boy Henry so I can take him up the..."

I haven't read the full piece, so I have no idea how it ends. I suspect maybe not as badly as my brain is suggesting.

Alt: Lunch, I suppose.

Don't worry monty,
I'm here now. I'm off to your shitty neck of the woods today. Actually I'm probably nowhere near you but london is an incomprehensible size for a backward northerner like me.

Is it too early to discuss weekend plans? I've no idea what to do in London besides visit the hummingbird bakery.
