I start and stop with GA - have not been into that book for a while.
there was the Longbow Hunters series by Mike Greil starting in the late 1980s that was pretty good.
It is also somewhat interesting what they have done with the character in the Smallville TV show. (sort of cherry-picking bits of various alternate history from the different comic book versions.)
