Really nice....
Is this place derelict or not, the walls look like they haven't been painted in years but the floor looks polished and there are desks or chairs in the room at the end, so I am unsure

thanks
yes it's derelict and up for sale. there is still loads of stuff inside - probably because it's next door to a busy police vehicle lock-up so the gyppo's have given it a miss :
it's been vandalised but not on the scale of most other abandoned buildings I've visited, hardly any graffiti etc just fire extinguishers and photo-copier toner thrown around the place really...a fine little explore :)
(dutsOptimus whut?,

and the polished floor effect is just a result of the HDR...you wouldn't really notice the reflections in "real life" :)

Arf....... being next to a police station doesn't stop them close to where I live....
A favorite passtime of of some always used to be to steal a car and sit outside the front of the police station beeping the horn, shouting and throwing things at the doors of the police station untill the police would come out and chase them.....

Was testing a panorama and this person walked into the pics - I didn't notice until I'd started to edit.
EDIT Original size 9824 x 3482 nothing really aligns very well, I used some auto function in CS2 I think, or Elements 7. Would love to practice this more but rarely bring a tripod during daytime. This was handheld and my silly little 400d/plastic fantastic 50/1.8.

That's actually quite effective.
I have the same three women walking along the bridge, twice. Not that you can really see it when it's been shrunk to 10% of its actual size..
(unless the entire idea is blown out of the water - or perhaps proven - by staggeringly good pics like this)
*EDIT* I just showed this to my mum. The range of emotions that crossed her face was like time-lapse photography of the weather. But she ended up laughing.

The medics are upping the drugs weekly, though, so it's only a matter of time before my will is broken. In the meantime, my only worry is a bailiff who's going to harrass my parents on Monday unless I can find a substantial three-figure sum. It is a worry, but I think it can be done.

Not bad considering I don't fully understand most of the tasks I have been given.
haha, I've deployed the "nebulous" gambit more than once.
Ever used the "George Harrison"? I used it yesterday when I was talking to my mum. She was saying stuff like "I don't like it when you're like this. I'd like to see the real you". George Harrison wrote and recorded many songs, and the keynote, despite his much-vaunted spirituality, was a vituperative bitterness. However, he also wrote a handful of sweet love songs, that expressed a gratitude for being alive. Even Beatleologists say "At last! The real George!" www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XFfUt7HQWM when they address these few sweet tunes, but they're ignoring a lot when they do so.
